Abstract:
An optical recording medium is disclosed, in which an optical recording layer (2) and a reflective layer (3) are formed on a transparent substrate. The recording layer (2) contains a first compound having absorption or a recording laser light having a predetermined wavelength, and a second compound having substantially no absorption for a laser light having the predetermined wavelength and decomposable upon heat generation by the laser light in the optical recording layer.
Abstract:
The object is to increase the S/N ratio in the detection of the occurrence of hybridization to increase the detection accuracy. Disclosed is a hybridization detection method, in which the hybridization between a probe nucleic acid chain with a target nucleic acid chain is allowed to proceed in a reaction system, and then the temperature of the reaction system where the hybridization proceeds is raised to a temperature higher than a predetermined temperature, thereby increasing the S/N ratio in the detection of the hybridization.

A magnetic recording medium having the outermost layer holding liquid crystal molecules of specified monocyclic, dicyclic and tricyclic structures as a lubricant; and a magnetic recorder/reproducer having a magnetic recording medium for recording information and a magnetic head for recording/reproducing information on/from the magnetic recording medium, wherein the minimum interval between the geometrical average planes of the magnetic recording medium and the magnetic head is 50 nm or less and liquid crystal molecules of specified structure are held as a lubricant in the outermost layer of the magnetic recording medium. The lubricant contains liquid crystal molecules having phase transition from the solid phase to the liquid phase and intermediate properties between liquid and solid. The lubricant can release the kinetic energy produced by sliding through phase transition. The magnetic recording medium and the magnetic recorder/reproducer can satisfy all the characteristics of durability against continuous sliding, low adhesiveness and high meniscoid force.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological rhythm adjustment method and adjustment device capable of easily measuring and evaluating a biological rhythm in daily life and effectively adjusting the biological rhythm on the basis of an evaluated result. SOLUTION: An irradiation method for irradiating the user of an electronic device with the light of a wavelength range 445-480 nm at least performs the first stage of automatically acquiring the biological information of a user from a living body contact part provided in the electronic device and storing it when using the electronic device itself for a purpose and the second stage of automatically judging the stored biological information, automatically controlling the intensity of the light of the wavelength range on the basis of a judged result and irradiating the user, and the electronic device used in the method are provided.
