    Abstract: A system and method for processing an extraordinarily large amount of data is configured using ordinary versatile computers of relatively slow data processing speed. Tasking is shared to plural computers or processors connected to a system bus; a shared storage device provided in common for these processors is made up of plural memory banks connected to the system bus; data transferred between the processors and the memory banks are divided into predetermined amounts of divisional data; the divisional data are processed simultaneously in parallel fashion; and each memory bank is occupied simultaneously in parallel fashion in response to each memory request from each processor. An arbitrator is provided for acting on a single memory request in accordance with a predetermined priority order in the case where plural memory requests are outputted simultaneously to the same memory bank.

Furthermore, at least part of the display resolution conversion section 56 and the print use resolution conversion section 57 is configured by using the same circuit in common.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system that receives a digital broadcast program, synthesizes some images of the program and prints out the composited image, where the image can be printed out almost without freezing a displayed image in the case of printing. SOLUTION: The print system is provided with a receiver that receives a digital broadcast program and a printer that prints out image data included in the digital broadcast program received by the receiver. Then an image drawing means in the receiver applies prescribed image drawing processing to the image data of a print object among the data of the digital broadcast program received by the receiver. The receiver transfers the image data subjected to the image drawing processing to the printer. The printer stores the image data subjected to the image drawing processing once to a data storage means and then reads the image data subjected to the image drawing processing stored in the data storage means and prints out the data.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the picture data transmitter handling only a picture data of a natural picture to display a character or a hand-written drawing picture. CONSTITUTION:A frame memory 229 has a character plane in which a character data or a hand-written drawing picture data [Y,B,G,R] is written and a natural picture plane in which a picture data of a natural picture [B,G,R] is written. Thus, the transmitter processes not only a natural picture but also a character or a hand-written drawing picture data. When the character or the hand-written drawing picture data is sent to the picture data transmitter processing only the picture data of the natural picture, after the picture data of the character plane is transferred to the natural picture plane, the picture data of the natural picture is sent. The character or the hand-written drawing picture data is processed as the picture data of the natural picture and the picture of the character or the handwritten drawing picture data is displayed on the picture data transmitter handling only the picture data of the natural picture without addition of the hardware and the software, that is, without loss of merits such as portable performance, economy and low power consumption.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast print system that receives a digital broadcast program, easily prints out an image of the digital broadcast program or the like on the basis of its digital signal and prints out the image of the received digital broadcast program when required. SOLUTION: A receiver 2 receiving image data of a digital broadcast program transfers the image data without modification to its digital data to a printer 4 and stores the data into a print RAM section 32 of the printer 4. In the case of printing out the image, a print image recording and reproducing section 33 records the image data stored in the print RAM 32 to a recording medium and an image print section 35 prints out the image of the image data. Or the print image recording and reproducing section 33 reproduces the image data from the recording medium and the image print section 35 prints out the image in accordance with the image data.
