Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an equipment which is easy to input and carry and usable at any place as an electronic equipment (e.g. portable information processor) which is constituted having an equipment main body part with a display screen and a keyboard part for inputting data, etc., to the equipment main body. CONSTITUTION: The keyboard part 5 has left and right divided keyboards 6 and 7 which can be changed in arrangement. To carry the equipment 1, the left and right keyboards 6 and 7 are rotated by 90 deg. to obtain projection area nearly as large as the equipment main body part 2, the equipment main part 2 and keyboard part 5 are folded face to face in this state, and then the equipment becomes compact and becomes easy to carry. Further, the equipment main body part 2 and keyboard part 5 are folded back to back to the opposite sides and then while the equipment is held by both hands, the keyboards 6 and 7 can be operated by blind touch looking at the display screen 3.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To print data in the corresponding frame of the specified item of a statistical table by providing the separating means of statistical-table information and a conversion means coding one and the other ruled line information on the basis of information from a detecting means and the separated information. CONSTITUTION:Statistical table paper 1 is set to a printer, and a Y motor 3 is driven by a driver circuit 15 by operating the Y direction key of a keyboard 16 and a rubber roller 2 is rotated. The information of a statistical table 1a read by an image input section 9, statistical-table information prepared on an LCD display 23 by using the keyboard 16 and the information of the statistical table 1a of statistical table paper 1 read by a position-beam driving and bar-code read section 14 by employing the position beam 9 are stored in a read information memory 20. The LCD display 23 is supplied with the stored image information through a bus 11 and an LCD driver circuit 22, and the image information is displayed on the display surface of an image output memory 21.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable a printing start position to be visually determined easily with the extremely accurate setting of a printing start position without generation of a parallax by providing a light emitting device which emits light to a printing start position for display. CONSTITUTION:A printing start position display device 16 consists of a light emitting diode 21, a beam case 17 for holding the light emitting diode 21 in storage and a bracket 23 for supporting the beam case 17. The beam case 17 moves with a printing head 14 in a single body, and the shaft core of the beam case 17 is arranged at a height corresponding to an almost intermediate part of the vertical width of a platen 6. If the light emitting diode 21 is energized, it emits light 33, and part of the light 33 is emitted to an area outside the beam case 17. The light is condensed into a directional flux through a photoconductive orifice 18 and a photoconductive cell 19. Subsequently, an almost circular spot light 33a is projected to a sport opposite to the platen 6 of a printing sheet 10. Printing starts at a position where a spot light 33a is emitted.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily authenticate a plurality of fingers which are bodies to be authenticated while miniaturizing a biometrics apparatus. SOLUTION: The biometrics apparatus is provided with: an open/close cover 9 formed by a material capable of transmitting near-infrared light and rotatably supported by a housing 6 to open/close an arrangement recessed part 6a formed in the housing 6; a photographing camera 10 for photographing a vein pattern of a finger 100 through the open/close cover 9 arranged on the arrangement recessed part 6a; and a light source 11 arranged in the arrangement recessed part 6a to irradiate the finger 100 arranged on the arrangement recessed part 6a with near-infrared light. The surface of the open/close cover 9 is formed as a finger mounting surface 9a on which a finger is to be mounted in the state where the longitudinal direction of the finger aligns a direction orthogonal to the rotation axis of the open/close cover 9, and when the inside surface 101 of the finger is touched with the finger mounting surface 9a, the finger is mounted, the open/close cover 9 is rotated and the arrangement recessed part is opened, biometrics is performed. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a larger heat radiating effect for the same power consumption and to respond also to local heat generation. SOLUTION: An electronic device such as CPU 16 or the like is mounted on one surface of a board 2 mounted in a case K. A chimney passage 20 extending vertically is formed between the board 2 and a side cover member 6 and the other surface side 2b of the board 2, which is nearly flat, forms the side wall of the chimney passage 20. Heat generated by the board 2 is radiated by the natural convection of air from the bottom to the top in the chimney passage 20. The inner space V in the case K partitioned from the chimney passage 20 by the board 2 is forcilbly air-cooled by an electric fan 31. A plurality of chimney passages may be formed and a liquid crystal display device 61 and the board 2 may constitute the wall of the chimney passage.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce a running cost, by a method wherein a mechanism is not made into a large scale. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge 1 is arranged by turning an exposed part of a ribbon upward. A platen 6 is arranged on the undersurface side of a ribon 2 extended between a ribbon feed port and wind-up port of the cartridge 1. A printing head 7 is arranged on the top side of the ribbon 2. At the time of printing, printing paper 9 is fed between the undersurface of the ribbon 2 and platen 6, only the printing head 7 is moved in accordance with a printing action by a feed mechanism 8 and printing is performed. The cartridge 1 is not required to be moved, the cartridge can be enlarged without making a mechanism into a large scale and a running cost can be reduced drastically. Since the printing head 7 is arranged on the upper side of the cartridge 1, even if the cartridge 1 is enlarged and made into a horizontal feed printing method, the title printer does not become unstable structure and a space factor is not worsened also. Printing can be performed on the top of the printing paper 9 and a user can confirm immediately a printed result.

PURPOSE:To suppress a voltage drop to the minimum by providing a first and a second transistor, each of which is connected through a resistor, and by controlling a second control electrode by a control circuit. CONSTITUTION:One non-control electrode of a first transistor 10 is connected to one output terminal of a power supply circuit 1 and a control electrode of the transistor 10 is connected to one non-control electrode of a second transistor 11 through a resistor R10. The other non-control electrode of the second transistor 11 and the other output terminal of the power supply circuit 1 are grounded and the other non-control electrode of the first transistor 10 is connected to a power supply circuit 15 of an uncontroller 12 through a coil 13. The control is conducted by a control circuit 8 of the second transistor 11. By this method, a voltage drop can be held down to the minimum even if a large current flows in a power line.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of manufacturing a magnetic circuit using an attraction force between a magnet and a magnetic body at much lower cost while reducing leakage of a magnetic field (magnetic flux) furthermore.SOLUTION: There is provided a magnetic circuit that includes a first magnet body including a magnet and a yoke plate, and a second magnet body. In the magnet circuit, the first magnetic body and the second magnetic body form a closed magnetic path.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select a link displayed on a Web browser. SOLUTION: An information processing device prepares a selection area 350 in a content data display area of a Web browser. Link displays 371-376 in the selection area 350 are given with frames. The selection area 350 can move in the content data display area based on operating signals from an operating terminal. The selection area 350 is moved so that a desired link display is included in the selection area 350. When the position of the selection area is determined by moving the selection area 350, the selection area 350 is removed, and then a frame and a bold frame are displayed. The bold frame is moved to any of the link displays, to which the frame are given, based on the operating signals from the operating terminal. When selection signals are transmitted from the operating terminal to a desired link display after the bold frame is moved to the desired link display, content data corresponding to the link display are displayed on the Web browser.
