Abstract: The voltage regulator comprises an output terminal (O) connected to a resistive load (R) in parallel with a capacitor (C), a differential amplifier (2) whose positive input (IN+) is connected to the output terminal (O) and negative input (IN-) to a reference potential (Vref), two controlled switches in the form of transistors (T2,T3) connected between the supply potential (Vbat) terminal and the output terminal (O), and a control circuit (4) delivering a potential dependent on the output potential of differential amplifier to the gate of the first transistor (T2), and when the current (I2) through the first transistor reaches a predetermined threshold, to the gate of the second transistor (T3). The current (I2) through the first transistor (T2) is not greater than the predetermined threshold current (IOs). The amplifier (2) is powered between the supply potential (Vbat) and the ground (GND) potential. The resistive load (R) in parallel with the capacitor (C) is connected between the output terminal (O) and the ground. The transistors (T2,T3) are of p-MOS type, and the gate of transistor (T3) is larger than that of transistor (T2). The control circuit (4) contains two bipolar transistors of n-p-n type whose collectors are connected directly to the output terminals (COM2, COM3) and to the supply voltage (Vbat) by the intermediary of impedances, where the base of first transistor is connected to the collector, the base of second transistor is connected to the ground by the intermediary of a current source, the emitters are connected to the ground by the intermediary of an n-MOS transistor whose gate is connected directly to the input terminal (COM), and a p-MOS transistor connected as a diode between the base of second transistor and the supply voltage.

Abstract: A ramp capacitor CAP1 has a first terminal connected to a power supply voltage VBAT. A generator circuit is connected to a second terminal of the ramp capacitor and adapted to generate a voltage ramp at the terminals of the ramp capacitor. The generator circuit includes a constant current source SCC connected to the second terminal B12 of the ramp capacitor CAP1 and auxiliary circuit MAX adapted in the presence of a transient variation of the power supply voltage to determine the transient current flowing in the ramp capacitor and generated by the transient variation. Responsive thereto, delivery is made to the second terminal B12 of the ramp capacitor CAP1 of a charging current equal to the algebraic sum of the constant current delivered by the constant current source and an auxiliary current equal and opposite to the transient current.

Abstract: An electronic circuit includes a substrate. A capacitor and at least one semiconductor component are supported by a surface of the substrate. A substantially planar screen, oriented parallel to the surface of the substrate and made of metallic material, is placed between the capacitor and the semiconductor component. Preferably, the semiconductor component is placed in proximity to the surface of the substrate and several superposed layers of insulating material cover the surface of the substrate and the semiconductor component. The capacitor is then placed within at least one layer of insulating material above the semiconductor component, and the screen is placed within an intermediate layer of insulating material between the layer incorporating the capacitor and the surface of the substrate.
