    Abstract: A bulk acoustic wave resonator has an adjustable resonance frequency. A piezoelectric element is provided having first and second electrodes. A switching element is provided in the form of a MEMS structure which is deformable between a first and second position. The switching element forms an additional electrode that is selectively disposed on top of, and in contact with, one of the first and second electrodes. This causes a total thickness of the electrode of the resonator to be changed resulting in a modification of the resonance frequency of the resonator.

    Abstract: The transistor (32) has doped areas corresponding to two main terminals of elementary MOS transistors, and including a shape of parallel strips separated by gate regions. Two set of conductive elements (54, 56 and 58, 60) are not partially extended on the doped areas corresponding to one of two main terminals. The conductive elements are divided into two set of fingers that are partially extended on the doped areas corresponding to another main terminals, respectively, where one set of fingers are partially intercalated with another set of fingers.

    Abstract: The method involves generating a filtered sampled signal (SF) according to a redundant arithmetic coding e.g. borrow-save coding. An output signal (Y) sampled on n bits is generated by using non-exact quantization. The generation of the output signal is anticipated, where the generation of the output signal is parallely carried out at the final elementary processing of the generation of the filtered sampled signal. An independent claim is also included for a digital delta-sigma modulator comprising a digital filtering unit.
