Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase a treatment speed by random accessing by providing a plurality of reaction lines holding a plurality or reaction tubes to feed the same intermittently and setting said lines to independent reaction lines with respect to items different in a reaction time. CONSTITUTION:A reaction tube supply apparatus 6 supplies reaction tubes 4 of an indicated item to the reaction tube holders of reaction lines 2a, 2b and a specimen distribution apparatus 8 distributes a specimen in each of the reaction tubes and a reagent distribution apparatus 10 distributes a diluent and an enzyme labelled solution. Antigen-antibody reactions are respectively performed in the lines 2a, 2b for the time until reaching a washing apparatus 12 and the reaction tubes 4 are washed by the washing apparatus 12 and a color forming solution distribution apparatus 14 distributes a color forming solution and color forming reaction due to enzyme is performed for the time until absorbance or fluorescence is measured by a colorimeter 16 and a residual solution discharging/reaction tube disposing apparatus 18 discharges a residual solution and excludes the reaction tubes 4. As mentioned above, when a common treatment operation part is allowed to act on a plurality of the reaction lines different in a reaction time in a time sharing manner, the increase of a treatment speed and cost reduction can be achieved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the random access of analytical items largely different in their reaction times possible by providing small washing groups separate from a main recirculation group. CONSTITUTION:The different reaction times due to analytical items are adjusted by differentiating the recirculation number of times through a recirculation loop 2. Respective functional parts of a reaction tube removing part 6, an new reaction tube setting part 8, respective distribution parts 10, 12, 14, 16 of beads, a dilution liquid, a sample and a specimen and an absorbancy measuring part 18 are provided and, according to a built-in program, the treatment of each reaction tube 4 at the time of passage is individually selected to perform random accessing. A washing part 24 functions over continuous several steps simultaneously and arranged along a small loop 20 separate from the loop 2 and the reaction tube 4 required in washing is transferred to the loop 20 from the branch part 22a of the loop 2 and washed in the washing part 24 to be returned to the original position of the loop 2 at a confluent point 22b. By this method, in one reaction, the loop 2 is used so as to make one or more round and, in chemical analysis of a 1, 2 step method of two or three reactions and simple one reaction, one of respective function parts can be adapted.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To set a sample conveyance quantity equally to the content of a cell and to use a sample effectively by detecting a break of sample liquid in a feeding flow passage in front of the flow cell and removing entering air bubbles. CONSTITUTION:A liquid feeding means 2 feeds the sample liquid 4 to the flow passage (a) by 0.4ml in 0.8 second from the start of feeding. Then a liquid feeding means control part 6 switches the speed of the means 2 and operates an air bubble detecting means 5. The sample liquid is fed by 0.1ml in one second from the switching. Then when the means 5 detects an air layer due to a liquid break, the means 2 is stopped according to the detection output and the means 2 is driven reversely. This reverse driving is carried out until the liquid 4 is fed backward in the flow passage (a) and the air-layer detection signal from the means 5 is ceased. Consequently, the air layer entered into the flow cell 3 is discharged from the cell 3, which is filled with the liquid 4.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve an SN ratio in a spectrum measuring device using line image sensors by splitting a wavelength region according to the output levels of measuring light, and changing the integrated time of the output in correspondence to these. CONSTITUTION:The light diffracted with the concave diffraction grating G of a spectroscope 1 is imaged on a photodiode array P driven by a sweeping circuit 2 and the output thereof is inputted and stored in a control circuit 3 via a preamplifier 4 and an ADC5. The photometric value thereof is segmented to plural numbers of partial wavelength regions and the ratios of the max. value of the measured values in the respective partial region to the satd. output value of the photodetectors P are calculated and the scanning speed of the circuit 2 is controlled until the ratios thereof attain 1. In this state, the transmittance is measured, whereby the SN ratio is improved.

To a lambdamax setting register Lmx, a lambdamin setting register Lmi, and a lambdach setting register Lch, the data of the long wavelength end, the short wavelength end, and the light source switch wavelength in the wavelength region to be measured are inputted by a ten key T and an input device I. A wavelength scanning and driving part 1 and a judging part J are driven by control device 3.
