    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the sure gripping of the clips of a tentering device and make it possible to prevent the breakage of a film guided within the tentering device from developing by a method wherein the grippings of the film are started after the passing of the predetermined length from the tip of the film through the inlet part of the tentering device in the longitudinal direction of the film. SOLUTION: The tip of a film to be fed to a tentering device 13 is detected on the downstream side of the changing-over flap 38 of a film running direction so as to move a driving means 21 downwards by means of a tip detecting signal sent to a controlling device 51 so as to control the gripping starting time of the film 11 by clips 19. The controlling of the gripping starting time is calculated by the running speed of the film, which is measured since the time, at which the tip of the film 11 passes through the sensor 52, so as to control the starting of the gripping of the film at a timing that the advancement of the tip of the film 11 by a predetermined length after its passing of a film gripping starting position 44. Thus, the sure gripping starting of the clips 19 of the film 11 can be realized, resulting in allowing to prevent the breakage of the tip of the film 11 due to stress concentration from occurring.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the poor molding at the edge of a film and an air trapping from developing and realize a stable molding by a method wherein the flow of air, which flows from nozzle edge part sides into the direction of a resin film, is controlled and straightened at the widthwise edge parts of the resin film in the nozzle. SOLUTION: The flow and amount of air, which flows from the edge part sides of a nozzle 1 into the direction of a resin film 2, are controlled with a flow straightening means 11 provided at the edge parts of the nozzle 1. Since the above flow and amount is controlled by the size of the flow straightening means 11, the nozzle 1 and the position of the flow straightening means to a gap between the nozzle 1 and the casting surface 5, a proper controlling can be realized by installing the flow straightening means having an optimum size at an optimum position. The inflowing air through the edge parts of the nozzle 1 largely affects the moldability of the edge of the resin film 2 and the air trapping between the resin film 2 and the casting surface 5. The proper controlling of the inflowing air flow brings the stable adhesion of the resin film 2 on the traveling casting surface 5. Thus, the moldability of the edge part of the resin film 2 can be improved, the air trapping between the resin film 2 and the casting surface 5 can be prevented from developing and a favorable quality and stable molding can be realized.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to upgrade the quality and form a coating film rapidly by providing a first negative pressure zone which comes into contact with the resin coating film on the upstream side of the moving direction of a resin coating film casting face rather than a point at which the resin coating film drops on the coating face, a second negative pressure zone which shows a lower degree of reduced pressure in contact with the resin coating film than that of the first negative pressure zone and a third negative pressure zone which shows a higher degree of reduced pressure than that of the first negative pressure zone respectively. SOLUTION: A first negative pressure zone 4 has the same width direction length and the same contact part as a solution coating film 3 and a second negative pressure zone 5 which is non-contact with the coating film 3 is arranged in parallel with the first negative pressure zone 4 and a third negative pressure zone which is non-contact with the coating film 3 is arranged at the end part of the width direction of the coating film 3 in the first negative pressure zone 4. These three negative pressure zones from a reduced pressure zone in the solution coating film 3 respectively and maintain an optimal pressure balance by controlling the degree of reduced pressure within an optimal range and thus contribute to the adhesion of a resin coating film to a casting face 14a. The third negative pressure zone shows the same degree of reduced pressure at both end parts and also shows a higher degree of reduced pressure than that of the first negative pressure zone 4. The degree of the reduced pressure of the second negative pressure zone 5 is lower than that of the first negative pressure zone 4. Further, these negative pressure zones 4, 5 are arranged on the upstream side in the moving direction of a belt 14.

In order to detect the upper surface height of a continuous paper sheet 12, the light projection sides and the light receiving sides of the paper-surface detecting photoelectric sensors 1717 and 1718 are arranged in parallel to a table 16 surface, and when the loading height of the continuous paper sheets 12 reaches a prescribed height, light is shielded. The table 16 is lowered by a minute distance by driving the table raising motor 1703 according to the detection of the light shielding, and the proper folding operation corresponding to the vertical size of the continuous paper sheet 12 is permitted by the aid of the swing angle of a swing guide (paddle) 15, and the upper surface height of the paper sheet 12 is kept at a prescribed height. The paddle 15 is swung by a prescribed swing angle by a pulse motor 1723.
