    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title unit of smaller scale, so designed that plural yarn-wound bobbins and a means to deliver yarns from woven forms or said bobbins are set up in the front and rear of a weaving drive and a carrier through which said yarns are penetrated is moved. CONSTITUTION:Yarns delivered from bobbins 7 are introduced, via a converging guide 8, into the holes on a carrier 3 in a weaving drive 2. The carrier 3 is then alternately moved in the biaxial direction through guides 47, 48 rectangular to each other to form a three-dimensional fiber structure 4, 5 on the both sides of said carrier 3. Thence, a full length of the resultant structure 4 is delivered by a grip-conveying means 10 followed by gripping the end of said structure 4. Said carrier 3 is then moved so that the structure 5 on the upstream side of the weaving drive 2 get loose to make said structure 5 come loose, and concurrently with this, a structure in the direction opposite to the above- mentioned one is formed on the downstream side. The above processes are repeated, thus obtaining the objective three-dimensional structure of continuous length.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a composite material having high volume fraction of fibers and high strength by clamping laminated fibers body having fibers laminated in multiple directions, with porous plates in high pressure, inserting and fixing reinforcing fibers into the laminated fiber body, impregnating uncured matrix and curing. CONSTITUTION: Fabrics of the reinforcing fiber and/or laminated fiber body 3 obtained by regularly laminating uniaxially oriented prepreg in multiple directions are clamped with the porous plates 1, 2. Needles 8 installed with the reinforcing fibers 9 are inserted into the laminated fiber body 3 through holes 6, 7. The reinforcing fibers are inserted and fixed while holding the laminated fiber body clamped under high pressure by a high-pressure press machine. Uncured matrix is impregnated into the laminated fiber body, the matrix is cured by heating or cooling, and then the clamping under pressure is released.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To fill uniformly a resin even inside a three-dimensional reinforcing fiber structure and to make it easier to prepare FRP, by forming a resin layer on the surface of filaments of the reinforcing fiber, weaving the filaments into the three-dimensional structure and melting or solidifying the resin layer by heating. CONSTITUTION:Carbon fibers, glass fibers, silicon carbide fibers, polyamide fibers and so on are used for reinforcing fibers. Thermosetting resins under semi-hardening condition are suitable for matrix resins, which include epoxy resins, unsaturated polyester resins, polyimide resins, phenol resins and so on. A resin layer to become the matrix is formed on the surface of the reinforcing filaments. A three-dimensional fiber structure is formed by using the filaments and its i molded into a specified shape. As the means for heating the three- dimensional fiber structure, a pultrusion method wherein it is continuously passed through a heated die, a hot press method and an autoclave method wherein pressing under heating is carried out in a heated chamber can be applied.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) structural body of a stable quality without defective molding, while both sufficient strength and weight saving are realized in a complicated shape. SOLUTION: Core materials 1a, 1b and 1c separately consisting of several members as basic structures are provided. An inner reinforcing layers 3 consists of a plurality of reinforcing fiber cloths 2 formed in shapes of the spread core materials 1a, 1b and 1c respectively and bonded inside the core materials. An outside reinforcing layers 4 consists of a plurality of the reinforcing fiber cloths 2 formed in shapes to wrap the core materials 1a, 1b and 1c and bonded outside the core materials 1a, 1b and 1c. Bonding surfaces of the core materials are formed so as to be opposite to a tangent to the core material surface at an angle of between 20 degrees and 70 degrees. The reinforcing fiber cloths 2 are laminated so that the adjacent reinforcing cloths 2 near bonding parts of the core materials are alternately overlapped. Further, the overlapping parts are shifted in a staircase pattern so as to cover all of the bonding parts of the core materials, and bonded.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold an FRP structure at a low cost and efficiently as a whole in one- shot molding process by impregnating a reinforcing fiber base material with resin in the thickness direction while the resin is diffused in the planer direction of the reinforcing fiber base material through a groove molded simultaneously with a core. SOLUTION: A core material 22 made of a foam or the like is arranged inside a mold 21 and a reinforcing fiber base material 23 is arranged on at least both faces of the core material 22. The core material 22 is formed of plural split parts and a plurality of the split parts of the core 22 are arranged lengthwise and breadthwise on the plane. In addition, the core material 22 has a large groove as a passage for resin and many small grooves branching out of the large groove. A resin is diffused in the face direction of the reinforcing fiber base material 23 through the large groove and the small grooves and at the same time, the core material 23 is impregnated with the resin in the thickness direction of the resin-diffused reinforcing fiber base 23. The grooves may be formed by machine-working as an after-machining process but in this case, the grooves are formed by molding substantially at the same time with the molding of the core material body.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably obtain a high-quality acrylonitrile-based fiber without causing yarn breakage by floating a plurality of specific objects on the level of a coagulation bath so as to surround a spinneret to diminish the ruffle of the level. SOLUTION: This acrylonitrile-based fiber is obtained by dry/wet spinning process; wherein a plurality of spherical objects 9 each with a specific gravity of 0.3-1.0 (pref. 0.5-0.9) and the maximum width of >=10 mm are floated on the level 11 of a coagulation bath existing 2-10 mm apart from the underside of a spinneret 1 in such a way that the depth of the portion of the objects 9 existing under the level 11 is 1/5 to 4/5 time the height of the portion of the objects 9 existing above the level 11 and the objects 9 are put into a net and floated in three or more rows so as to surround the spinneret 1 to diminish the ruffle of the level 11.
