Die Probe kann eine biologische Probe sein, die ein Kontrastmittel enthält, das detektiert werden soll. Typische Kontrastmittel in klinischen Anwendungen sind Gadolinium (Gd) sowie Jod (I).
Abstract:
An interrogation device for detecting luminescent light produced by analytes in a sample excited by multiple excitation light beams each having individual spectral contents, comprising a plurality of light sources each generating an excitation light beam; at least one detector for detecting the luminescent light produced by the sample; and an optical assembly defining distinct and fixed excitation light paths for each of the excitation light beams from the light sources to a common excitation site on the sample and defining a shared luminescence light path for the luminescent light from the excitation site on sample to the at least one detector, the excitation light paths and the luminescence light path being on a same side of the sample, the optical assembly including sample-side optics projecting the excitation light towards the sample and collecting luminescent light from the sample.
Abstract:
Provided is a spectroscope that can be manufactured easily, can be reduced in size, and can provide high wavelength resolution of a specific spectral band. Specifically, provided is a spectroscope with a diffraction grating 331 that deflects and separates incident light in different directions depending on to an element of the incident light, at least one optical element 332a, diffusing a light that has passed through this diffraction grating 331 and has entered the optical element 332a, a line sensor 333, which receives the light that has passed through the optical element 332a, thereby only light that has a specific deflection angle within a specific range of wavelengths from among all the light that entered said optical element 332a is selectively expanded and received.
Abstract:
A device (1) for analysing the material composition of an object (2) has a casing (3) with a handle (4), an operating trigger (5), a window (6) for abutment against the object to be analysed and a display (7) for displaying the analysis of the object. Mounted in the casing is a housing (11) having a base (12) to which it is pivotally connected about an axis (14) at one end (15). At the other end (16), a stepper motor (17) is provided for traversing the end across the base. This end has an opening (18) generally in alignment with an opening (19) in the housing in which the window is mounted. Within the housing, are mounted: a laser diode (21); a laser amplification crystal (22); a collimating lens (23); a laser focusing lens (24). The components are arranged on a laser projection axis (25), which passes out through the openings (18,19). A plane mirror (32) can receive light emitted by a plasma P excited at the surface of the object (2). Light from the plasma P is reflected in the direction (34) across the projection axis to a curved focusing mirror (35). From this mirror, the light is reflected again across the projection axis and focused on the end of an optical (fibre (37) set in an aperture (38) in the side wall (39) of the housing opposite from the reflecting mirror.
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to reduce the dispersion of a powdered substance, which is the target substance, during the analysis period in an analyzing device that analyzes the target substance by analyzing the light originated from the substance which is in the plasma state. The present invention relates to an analyzing device including a plasma generation means which generates plasma in the space and maintains plasma using the energy of EM radiation emitted from a radiation antenna; and an optical analysis means which analyzes a target substance by analyzing the plasma light generated from target substance of plasma state in the plasma area during the plasma maintenance period where the plasma is maintained by the plasma generation means using the energy of EM radiation. The plasma generation means emits the EM radiation from the radiation antenna in continuous waves during the plasma maintenance period.
