Abstract:
PURPOSE: A super high frequency I/Q(In-phase/Quadrature) transceiver is provided to reduce phase noise by lowering an oscillation frequency. CONSTITUTION: A signal receiving part(110) amplifies an inputted signal. A frequency generation part(120) outputs a stabilized VCO(Voltage Controlled Oscillator) frequency through a PLL(Phase Looked Loop). The frequency generation part comprises a phase synchronization circuit(121) and an oscillator(122). A first harmonic mixer part(130) generates a signal having the 1/3 size of an input signal frequency and four phases by receiving an input signal received from the signal receiving part and frequencies outputted from the frequency generation part. The first harmonic mixer part includes a first harmonic mixer(132) and a multi phase filter(131). A second harmonic mixer part(140) and a third harmonic mixer part(150) respectively output I signal and Q signals by receiving the signal which is reduced into the 1/3 size of the frequency of the input signal outputted from the first harmonic mixer part.
Abstract:
An automatic frequency control device is provided to lock a frequency of an oscillation signal of an oscillator by comparing the frequency of the oscillation signal divided into 1/N and a reference signal. A divider(220) divides an oscillation signal of an oscillator into 1/N. A phase alignment unit(230) produces a plurality of reference signals with different phases by using the reference signals generated from a reference signal generator. The phase alignment unit selects one reference signal among the produced reference signals according to an output signal of the divider. A frequency comparator(240) compares the frequency of the oscillation signal outputted from the divider with the reference signal selected by the phase alignment unit. A frequency controller(250) controls the oscillation frequency of the oscillator according to the comparison result of the frequency comparator. A frequency changing unit changes the oscillation frequency of the oscillator according to the frequency controller.

레퍼런스 전압 변동 방지 기법을 적용한 다채널 SAR 타입 ADC 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른, ADC 장치에 구비된 각각의 ADC는, 아날로그 입력 신호의 전압인 입력 전압과 레퍼런스 전압을 형성하고, 입력 전압과 레퍼런스 전압을 비교하여 디지털 데이터로 비교 결과를 출력하며, 비교 결과를 외부에 출력하기 위해 기록하고, 레퍼런스 전압 형성을 위한 연결 동작을 다른 ADC와 함께 수행한다. 이에 의해, 입력 전압과 레퍼런스 전압을 비교하는 구간에 레퍼런스가 변동하는 것을 방지하여, 비교중인 채널의 비교부에 입력되는 레퍼런스 변동에 의한 오작동을 방지할 수 있어, 고해상도 ADC를 제공할 수 있게 된다.

트랜스포머 기반 RF 스위치 및 그 스위칭 방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 RF 스위치는, 1차측이 송신단에 연결되고 2차측이 안테나에 연결된 송신단 트랜스포머와 1차측이 안테나에 연결되고 2차측이 수신단에 연결된 수신단 트랜스포머를 포함하고, 송신 모드에서는 송신단 트랜스포머가 턴-온 되고, 수신 모드에서는 수신단 트랜스포머가 턴-온 된다. 이에 의해, 직렬 연결된 트랜지스터에 의한 스위칭이 아닌 트랜스포머 기반의 스위칭이 가능하게 되어, 높은 아이솔레이션(High Isolation) 뿐만 아니라, 높은 선형성(High linearity)과 낮은 삽입 손실(Low insertion loss) 모두를 구비한 RF 스위치 구현이 가능해진다.

하모닉제거믹서구조에대한부정합보상방법및 이를적용한믹싱장치가제공된다. 본믹싱장치는, 다수의믹서들중 선택된 2개의믹서들간의신호크기부정합과신호위상부정합을추정하여보상한다. 또한, 신호크기부정합과신호위상부정합을하나의관계식을통해독립적으로함께추정하여보상할수 있게되어, 부정합추정에소요되는연산을줄일수 있으므로, 신속한부정합보상이가능해진다.

PURPOSE: A bonding wire impedance matching circuit is provided to send a signal in desired frequency with a minimum insertion loss without using a specially designed antenna for compensating a thin transmission line or an inductance, thereby being applied to diverse millimeter bands. CONSTITUTION: An impedance matching circuit(100) includes a first pad(110), a transmission line(120), a second pad(130), a dielectric substrate(140), and a ground(150). The ground is positioned on a lower surface of the dielectric substrate. The first pad is positioned on an upper surface of the dielectric substrate and is connected with a bonding wire. The transmission line is positioned on the upper surface of the dielectric substrate, and one end of the transmission line is separated from the first pad leaving a fixed gap. The second pad is positioned inside the dielectric substrate, and the first pad area and the area of the end of the transmission line are overlapped.

PURPOSE: A broadband voltage controlled oscillator is provided to have a differential Colpittz structure, thereby reducing phase noise. CONSTITUTION: A differential Colpittz oscillator(110) outputs oscillator signals. A tuning capacitor array unit(120) converts an oscillation frequency into a broadband by discretely tuning the oscillation frequency. A varactor diode unit(130) analogously tunes the tuned oscillation frequency. A high impedance unit(140) maintains the oscillation of the differential Colpittz oscillator. An active bias unit(150) stably maintains the voltages of the first and second oscillation terminals.
