    Abstract: PURPOSE: A rotor pitch control apparatus of 2 degrees of freedom for a tilt-rotor aircraft is provided to efficiently control the longitudinal position of a tilt rotor by correcting a phase difference between the inclination of the rotational surface of the rotor and the inclination of the swash plate. CONSTITUTION: A rotor pitch control apparatus of 2 degrees of freedom for a tilt-rotor aircraft comprises a guide(40), a swash plate assembly(10), two actuator links(211,212), and an actuator(20). The swash plate assembly slides up and down along the guide and is inclined with respect to the guide so as to vary the collective pitch angle and cyclic pitch angle of a rotor. The two actuator links are arranged at 180° with respect to the guide. The actuator slides the swash plate assembly by the extension and contraction of the actuator links or rotates the assembly about a reference axis.

    Abstract: A tension-torsion strap and a hub device having the same are provided to reduce the time required for the assembly and construction of the hub device with minimizing the reconstruction of the tension-torsion strap through a simple construction. A hub device(100) having a tension-torsion strap(600) includes a hub flexure(300), and a pitch cage(400). The pitch cage is connected to a blade(500). The hub flexure is fixed at a rotor shaft and has a hollow space inside thereof. The tension-torsion strap is inserted in the hub flexure. The hub flexure is coupled with the tension-torsion strap by a hub flexure connecting pin(310). The pitch cage is mounted on an opposite side of the tension-torsion strap inserted in the hub flexure. The pitch cage fixes the blade and the tension-torsion strap by the pitch cage pin.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A vertical taking-off/landing airplane is provided to increase the propelling efficiency by forming a fan blade in a duct shape to shield the structure of a ring. CONSTITUTION: In a vertical taking-off/landing of an airplane, two main lift fans(1,2) to be tilted and a fixing type front lift fan(3) to be installed in the front part of the airplane are driven. In a forward flying, the driving of the front lift fan is isolated and two main lift fans are driven by tilting. Thereby, the vertical taking-off and the landing are efficient and the high forward flying speed is obtained.
