    Abstract: A variable intake system using a pressure wave is provided to allow upper and lower runners to share a pressure wave by rotation of a butterfly plate formed at a variable controller. A variable intake system using a pressure wave comprises a variable controller mounting unit provided at a left side of a surge tank. A flange unit(21) of a variable controller(20) is coupled with the variable controller mounting unit. A butterfly plate(23) is fixed to the variable controller such that the butterfly plate rotates about a center shaft(24), so that an upper runner and a lower runner share a pressure wave. A lever(22) is formed at an end portion of the center shaft such that the center shaft is fixed to a lever controller. The lever controller is connected with an intake manifold through a connection line to use negative pressure in the intake manifold.
