Abstract: PURPOSE: A VCR(Variable Compression Ratio) device is provided to guarantee a stable VCR because a fluid pressure is selectively provided and released through the oil chamber between the inside and outside pistons. CONSTITUTION: A VCR(Variable Compression Ratio) device comprises a outer piston(200), an inner piston(210), a latching pin(240), a variable slider, and a supporting plate. The inner piston is closely adhered to the inner circumference of piston and slid to the up and down. The latching pin is passed through the inner piston and slid in a vertical direction to an axial direction. The variable slider is selectively touched to both end parts of the latching pin. The variable slider pushes one end between the both ends of the latching pin to an opposite direction. The supporting linearly reciprocates variable sliders on the both sides perpendicular to longitudinal direction of the latching pin. One end of the variable shaft selectively rotated is connected to the variable slider. A sliding direction of the variable slider is controlled by the rotation of the variable shaft.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An off-idle knock is expected beforehand to control fuel amount, thereby stabilizing engine combustion. CONSTITUTION: An engine fuel amount and rpm are detected by a throttle position sensor and a crank position sensor respectively. A voltage value of a throttle position sensing signal of the throttle position sensor is sensed, and rpm of engine is calculated by a crank position sensing signal from the crank position sensor. An off-idle knock is decided if the voltage value of the throttle position sensing signal increases abruptly over a set value and the engine rpm is reduced abruptly compared to an idle rpm.
