Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit the improvement of color reproducibility conforming a chrominance signal to the conditions that it is seen with human eyes by a method wherein a visual pigment film which generates photocurrent according to the intensity of a light is formed being pinched between a contact electrode and a transparent electrode. CONSTITUTION:A picture element part region 2 for sensing an optical image is formed at the central part of a substrate 1 and a driving part 3 of the picture element part 2 is provided on the periphery of this region. Then, a diffusion part 16 for charge storage and a contact electrode 12 to connect to a visual pigment film 11, which functions as a photosensor according to each picture element, are formed. Moreover, after the visual pigment film 11, which is one formed a visual pigment-containing cell membrane into a filmy form and functions as a photosensor, is laminated on the whole surface of the picture element part 2, a transparent electrode 10 is formed on the whole surface on the region 2 and a color filter 7 is installed on the front of the picture element part 2. Thereby, the color reproducibility can be improved being well-balanced a chrominance signal obtainable through the filter 7 to the conditions that it is seen with human eyes.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a wavelength characteristic of an optical sensor approximate to the visibility of a human being by using a visual matter for a photosensitive part. CONSTITUTION:A thin film 3 of a cell membrane containing bacteriorhodopsin which has been isolated from a halophile is electro-deposited onto a transparent electrode 2 which has been vacuum-evaporated on a glass substrate 1, and also the second electrode 4 is vacuum-evaporated on said film, by which a photosensitive part is formed. A source 6 and a gate 7 of a field effect transistor 5 are connected through a conductive circuit 11 to the transparent electrode 2 and the second electrode 4 of the photosensitive part, respectively, and a drain 8 is connected to the conductive circuit 12 to the source 6 through a DC power source 9 and a resistance 10, by which a detecting/amplifying part of a photoelectromotive force which has been generated in the photosensitive part is formed. A variation of a drain current caused by a light irradiation of the photosensitive part is recorded in a recorder 12, as a variation of an across voltage of the resistance 10.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as an intermediate for the production of a polysubstituted modified cyclodextrin in good yields and a high purity, by reacting beta-cyclodextrin with a trithyl halide in pyridine and separating the product by solvent fractionation. CONSTITUTION:1mol of beta-cyclodextrin is reacted with 1-4mol of a trithyl halide (e.g., trithyl chloride) in pyridine to form a mixture of trithylated beta- cyclodextrins of formula I (wherein n is 1 or 2). 6,6'-Di-o-trithyl-beta-cyclodextrin is separated from this mixture by using cyclohexane and an aqueous solvent (e.g., water). 6-o-Trithyl-beta-cyclodextrin of formula III is separated by using a solvent mixture of an alcohol (e.g., butanol or ethanol) and water.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the stability in a dispersive phthalocyanine by electrochemically forming as a barrier electrode, and using a heat treated cadmium sulfide layer, thereby suppressing an aging deterioration. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of 0.15-4wt% part of polyvinylidene compound and 1-300wt% parts of solvent is uniformly dispersed to 1wt.pt of phthalocyanine by a ball mill, and the dispersant is coated by a spin coating method on a cadmium electrode 3. The dispersing time is generally 10min-5hr, and the coating on the electrode is 0.1-10mum of thickness at dry time. After this drying, a conductive film electrode 6 to become an ohmic electrode is formed by a vacuum depositing method. A glass substrate 5 is formed through a transparent conductive film 4 on the electrode 3.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make up a novel recombined plasmid pBLAK1 including a gene coding a fused protein from dihydrofolate reductase and bradykinin, and trans form E. coli with the plasmid to produce bradykinin. CONSTITUTION:The recombined plasmid pBLAK1 is stably copied in E. coli and gives the E. coli, the host, resistance to trimethoprim and ampicillin. The gene giving resistance to trimethoprim is recombined by modifying the 3'-termi nal of the dihydrofolate gene from Bacillus subtilis to code the fused protein from dihydrofolate reductase-bradykinin with 4474 pairs of bases. The recombinant plasmid pBLAK1 is introduced into E. coli C600 strain and the transformed strain is deposited as FERM P-9300.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a copolymer having excellent slow-releasing property of a carcinostatic substance, low toxicity and improved carcinostatic effect, by reacting a carcinostatic substance to a divinyl ether-maleic anhydride copolymer and hydrolyzing the reaction product. CONSTITUTION:A divinyl ether-maleic anhydride copolymer of formula I (n is a value corresponding to the copolymer molecular weight of 2,000-15,000) is made to react with a carcinostatic substance having hydroxyl group or amino group (e.g. 5-fluorouridine, 1-beta-D-arabinofuranosylcytosine) in the presence of an organic solvent (e.g. N-methylpyrrolidone) at a rate to give a content of usually 5-40wt%. The reaction product is hydrolyzed and optionally converted to a salt to obtain the objective copolymer of formula II (R is residue obtained by removing one H atom from the hydroxyl group or amino group of the above carcinostatic substance). EFFECT:The carcinostatic activity is promoted by the synergistic effect with the carcinostatic activity of the copolymer.
