    Abstract: PURPOSE:To raise the critical temp. above the temp. of liq. oxygen by embedding a fibrous crystal having a Bi2Sr2Cu1O6 structure (2201 phase) in a specified oxide powder and heat-treating the powder. CONSTITUTION:The raw materials are mixed so that Bi=1.00, Sr=0.5-1.5, Ca=1.0-3.0, Cu=1.0-5.0 and Pb=0.2-1.0 in the atomic compositional ratio. The mixture is sintered at 800-860 deg.C for 5-100 hr in an oxygen atmosphere and then pulverized to obtain an oxide powder. A fibrous crystal consisting of Bi, Sr, Ca, Cu and O and having a Bi2Sr2Ca1Cu2O8 structure (2212 phase) or a fibrous crystal consisting of Bi, Sr, Cu and O and having a Bi2Sr2Cu1O6 structure (2201 phase) is then embedded in the oxide powder, and the powder is heat- treated at 830-860 deg.C for 50-200 hr to obtain the superconducting fibrous crystal with the atomic compositional ratio expressed by the formula (0

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the processability, flexual strength and critical temperature of the subject crystal by quenching the melted product of a specific composition comprising Bi, Sr, Ca, Cu, Li and O and subsequently heating the solidified product in a stream of O2 gas. CONSTITUTION:A starting raw material consisting of a mixture of Bi, Sr, Ca, Cu, Li and O in a Bi:Sr:Ca:Cu:Li:O atomic ratio of 1.00:(0.5-2.0):(0.5-5.0):(1.0-7.0):(0.1-1.0):(2.5-5.0) is melted at 1100-1250 deg.C for 15-60min, cast on a metal plate and subsequently quenched at a cooling rate of >=10 deg.C/sec to prepare a glassy platelike solidified product having a thickness of approximately 1mm.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To screen particulate material by densities under a dry condition by inclining an oscillation table longitudinally and transversely, providing a weir to the right ends of the many pieces of horizontally laid riffles and stopping the particulate material tending to advance rightward in the grooves between the riffles at said weir. CONSTITUTION:The weir 2 of a required height is spanned from the mid-point on the rear side part of the oscillation table 1 which consists of a rectangular plate-shaped body, is so inclined as to be higher on the right side than on the left side and is so inclined as to be higher on the rear side than on the front side toward the right lower angle part direction. The plural riffles 3 which are smaller in height than the weir 2 are horizontally provided in approximately parallel at approximately the same intervals on the right side of the weir 2. The table 1 is oscillated horizontally at every small periods. As a result, the particulate matter is efficiently screened by densities from the mixture composed of >=2 kinds of the particulate matter of different densities under a dry condition. For example, coal ashes having a lower unburned carbon content are fractionated from coal ashes contg. the unburned carbon content at a substantially high ratio.
