Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a verification system for ad hoc wireless communication that can simply verify data integrity in data transmission reception by ad hoc wireless connection. SOLUTION: A request source and a request destination for opening an encryption communication path are respectively defined to be a transmission source A and a transmission destination B. A verification data generating algorithm ID 1 is arranged in advance between the parties A, B. The A transmits e.g. a public key Kp of the A to the B, generates verification data Xp from the public key Kp by using the algorithm ID 1 and outputs the data to its own verification image display section 27. The B receives the data Kx sent from the A as the key Kp, generates verification data Xx from the Kx by using the ID 1 and outputs the data to its own verification image display section 27. A verifier discriminates that there exists data integrity when the Xp, Xx of the verification image display sections 27 of the parties A, B are coincident.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device that can efficiently retrieve a wireless station in existence around the device in a network, especially in a wireless ADHOC communication network. SOLUTION: A master node 710 includes a protocol stack 715, a transceiver 720, a retrieval scheduler 725, a traffic prediction means 730, and an out-channel interference signal strength measurement means 735 as major components, and a slave node 750 includes a protocol stack 760, a transceiver 765, and a retrieval routine 755 as major components. An interference strength measurement means 735 informs a retrieval scheduler 725 about the strength of an interference signal measured by the interference strength measurement means 735 and the retrieval scheduler 725 decides the total amount of the resource assigned to the retrieval on the basis of the measured strength of the interference signal.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply display a moving picture on a hold type display device by providing a shutter function in the overlay processor. SOLUTION: A RAM readout circuit 301 reads image data and moving picture data out of an on-screen area 211 and an off-screen area 213 according to horizontal scanning lines, and outputs them to a key color detecting circuit 303 and an overlay selecting circuit 305. A shutter circuit 307 receives a frame timing signal from a VRAM readout circuit 301 and judges which of a black signal and the moving picture data received from the VRAM readout part 301 should be outputted in a frame according to specific frame cycles. In the starting frame cycle, the moving picture data from the VRAM readout circuit 301 are outputted to the overlay selecting circuit 305, so the black signal is outputted to the overlay selecting circuit 5 after a next framing signal is received.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To manage the ID numbers (identification information) of the connected built-in SCSI devices of an information processor which has two or more build-in SCSI devices and can connect the SCSI devices even to the outside through connection ports without user intervention. CONSTITUTION: ID numbers can be read from and written in built-in SCSI devices. Such numbers which do not come into collision with the ID numbers of SCSI device connected to the outside are selected as the ID numbers of the built-in SCSI devices. The writing of such ID numbers is automatically performed on a system 10 side at the time of performing boot processing or when the system configuration changes. Even when SCSI hard disk devices are installed to both the inside and outside, the inside hard disk device can be designated by reading the ID number of the hard disk device.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent data destruction caused by an exchange of floppy disks in a low consumption voltage mode where feed to a FDC and a FDD is stopped. CONSTITUTION: An I/O address showing a FDC change line status register is set in a trap logic internal register in a series of processing process of returning to a normal operation mode (status 173). A change line status flag value is rewritten when an access to a first status register is trapped after returning to the normal operation mode (status 174). A faked OS/driver invalidates floppy disk allocation information in a main memory.
