Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent for clothes which is used by diluting it with a large excess amount of water in a washing machine, wherein it has high antimicrobial activity even in a low antimicrobial concentration; and it has antimicrobial effect for Gram-negative bacteria and fungi without using other antimicrobial agents in combination.
SOLUTION: The liquid detergent for clothes comprises from 0.05 mass% to less than 1 mass% of a biguanide compound (a) and from 2 mass% to less than 50 mass% of one or more surfactants (b) selected from a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether surfactant (b1) having a polyoxyalkylene group having an average addition molar number of 5-20, an alkylglycoside surfactant (b2) having an 8-16C alkyl group and an average degree of condensation of 1-2, and an amine oxide surfactant (b3) having one 8-18C hydrocarbon group, wherein component (a)/component (b) is 1/20-1/500 in the mass ratio.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition excellent in ease of use, cleaning power and finished feeling, and having a good preservation stability.
SOLUTION: This liquid detergent composition is provided by containing (a) a nonionic surfactant, (b) a specific water soluble inorganic salt, (c) water, (d) a specific amphiphilic lipid, (e) a water soluble stabilized polymer having 3,000-8,000,000 weight-average molecular weight by each specific ratio, having 10-60 mass % surfactant equivalent to that described in the JIS K 3362:1998, presenting liquid droplets having 0.1-20 μm mean particle diameter and having 10-2,000 mPa s viscosity (by B-type viscometer, at 60 r/min, for 60 sec, at 20°C).

SOLUTION: The objective liquid detergent composition comprises (a) an anionic detergent or a combination thereof with amphoteric detergent, (b) a nonionic detergent, (c) at least one selected from ethanol, propanol and isopropanol, (d) ethylene glycol and/or propylene glycol and (e) a benzenesulfonic acid which may be substituted with 1-3 alkyl groups of 1-3 carbon atoms or a salt thereof in a specific ranges individually where the weight ratio of (c)/(d) is in a specific range and the viscosity ρ1 is 300-1,000 mPa.s and both of the viscosities ρ2 and ρ3 of the compositions from which the component (c) or the component (d) are subtracted are higher than the ρ1 at 20 deg.C.
