Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the stagnation of coating material, to sufficiently break floc and to certainly obtain a homogenous and stable coating surface by constituting a coating machine so that ultrasonic vibration is directly applied to coating material prior to extruding the material. CONSTITUTION:A die 4 constituted by providing a buffer part 4A filled with the coating material supplied from a coating material supply source under pressure and a slot part 4B communicating with buffer part 4A at one end part thereof and opened at the other end part thereof as an extrusion port 4b extruding the coating material to an object to be coated is provided. An ultrasonic vibration applying means 12 applying ultrasonic vibration to said coating material before the material supplied to the buffer part 4B is extruded from the extrusion port 4b is provided. As a result, the stagnation of the coating material can be prevented and floc can be sufficiently broken and a homogenous and stable coating surface can be certainly obtained and the damage of the object to be coated is prevented and the quality of a product can be enhanced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-line type sheet weight measuring method and instrument, capable of accurately and stably measuring a weight of a band-like sheet, during transfer thereof.
SOLUTION: This method measures the weight of the band-like sheet 10 laid wound onto a pair of load measuring rolls 2, 3 connected to a load cell and rotatable about a horizontal axis, while transferring the sheet 10 along a longitudinal direction. The rolls 2, 3 are arranged to bring rotational directions of the rolls 2, 3 into mutually reverse directions, during the transfer of the sheet 10, to transfer the sheet 10 vertically between the rolls 2, 3, and to bring directions of loads applied to the rolls 2, 3 into mutually perpendicular and reverse directions; a transfer route R of the sheet 10 is formed thereby; and the weight of the sheet 10 is calculated based on the loads applied on the rolls 2, 3, when transferring the sheet 10 through the transfer route R.
