Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the stationary culture of hair mother cells having a multiplying and differentiating ability in a physiological state and contrive the utilization of the multiplied mother cells for the fundamental researches of the hair mother cells by allowing hair papilla cells to exist when the hair mother cells are cultured. The culture is preferably performed by using the hair mother cells and the hair papilla cells in a cell number:protein or DNA mass ratio of 1:9 to 9:1 at 20--38 deg.C in a gas phase containing 0-10% CO2 and 0-95% O2 by an embedding culture method.

The lipid derivative is extracted and isolated from skin, brain, egg, etc., of animal and, for example, sphingosine, cerebroside, ganglioside, etc., may be cited as the lipid derivative. The amount of the lipid derivative is 0.01-40wt% in the case of emulsified cosmetic and 0.1-50wt% in the case of oily cosmetic. A glyceryl ether shown by formula II (R3 is 8-24C alkyl) is preferable as the surface active agent and the amount of the surface active agent blended is preferably 0.1-5wt%.

The surfactant is nonionic, anionic or amphoteric surfactant. The cosmetic can be used in the form of cream, beauty wash, milky lotion, lipstick, hair tonic, etc.

Then, this cell is administered to female Balb/c mouse to immunize the mouse and after 3 days from final immunity, spleen is taken out to separate an antibody-producing cell and the cell is fused with a mouse myeloma cell and the fused cell is cultured in HAT medium to afford a hybridoma. The hybridoma is screened to select desired antibody- producing clone and sub-iected to cloning by a limiting dilution analysis and the resultant monoclonal hybridoma is cultured to provide the objective new monoclonal antibody against a cell infiltrated in inflammatory tissue and useful for diagnosis, etc., of inflammation.
