Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a member from wearing, by providing a vane, which forms its point end with material excellent in wearing resistance as compared with that of a vane main unit, and a roller which rotates while sliding its peripheral part with the point end part of the vane. CONSTITUTION:A roller 3, which is eccentrically built in a shaft 2, rotates while the roller 3 is brought into close contact with an internal wall of a cylinder 4 further forced to come into press contact with the point end of a vane 6. The vane 6 constitutes its point end part 8 of material of different kind from that of a vane main unit 7 and of a member in high hardness with excellent wearing resistance. Accordingly, wearing in both a vane groove and the vane point end part can be simultaneously suppressed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce vibration and noise by providing a shaft having an oil feeding groove in the direction of a force applied to the shaft by compression work and a bearing having an oil feeding port in a direction in which the eccentric quantity of the shaft becomes the maximum due to the force. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 1 is subjected to a load by compression work while being rotated, the eccentric quantity of the shaft 1 is reduced by an oil pressure fed to a sub-bearing 9, thereby, reducing the vibration and noise of a compressor. Also, in order to maximize the effect of the reduction of the eccentric quantity by the oil pressure, an oil feeding port 11 provided on the shaft 1 is directed in the direction of a load by compression work which is opposite to the direction of the eccentricity of the shaft 1, to suppress the reduction of oil pressure in the bearing 9 due to the scooping up of oil by the oil feeding port 11 as much as possible.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control refrigeration facility in accordance with an increase in the load of a refrigerating chamber without remarkably reducing the temperature thereof in the case where the load of the freezing chamber alone increases when the ambient temperature is low and the load is small in a two-stage refrigerant compressor type freezer having a plurality of evaporators different in evaporating temperature as typified by a freezer-refrigerator and the like. SOLUTION: It is possible to meet a change in load balance between freezing and refrigerating chambers by reducing heat quantity exchanged between the refrigerating chamber and a refrigerating evaporator 3 to lower the evaporating temperature thereof, increasing the intensity of supercooling a liquid refrigerant supplied to a freezing evaporator 1 and thereafter increasing the operating rate or revolution speed of a compressor 5 to adjust the circulation of the refrigerant in accordance with the load of the freezing chamber.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed electric compressor having a hermetic terminal whose durability is enhanced by preventing adhesion of metallic powders to glass, and preventing a spark between a terminal pin and a metallic outer ring to prevent leakage of electricity and damage to the terminal, even if a refrigerant containing ammonium is used. SOLUTION: The closed electric compressor has, inside the sealed container of the metallic outer ring, the hermetic terminal fitted with a protective cover formed of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of polyphenylene sulfides, polysulfones, polyether sulfones, polyether ether ketones, polyether imides, and polyamide imides, so that the protective cover clings to the outer peripheral surface of the terminal pin, the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical part, and the inner peripheral surface of the metallic outer ring. Even if a refrigerant containing ammonium is used, the protective cover will not dissolve nor drop, so metallic powders will not cling to glass and the closed electric compressor provided with the hermetic terminal having the effect of preventing leakage of electricity and damage to the terminal can be provided.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator using isobutane as refrigerant in which the possibility of explosion due to firing of isobutene leaked to the inside of a refrigerator can be reduced. SOLUTION: A compressor 9, a condenser 10, an expansion mechanism 11, and an evaporator 8 are coupled sequentially and annularly and isobutene 12 is encapsulated as refrigerant thus establishing a refrigeration cycle for a heat insulation box 2. Operation of the compressor 9 is stopped only when the pressure of refrigerant in the evaporator 8 is negative thus reducing the possibility of explosion due to firing of isobutene 12 leaked to the inside of a refrigerator.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of leak caused by the electrical insulating property of the ice machine oil, by horizontally accomodating a machine part and a motor part for driving the machine part in a hermetic casing, and sealing a HFC refrigerant and the ester ice machine oil having a specified volume resistance value into the sealed casing. SOLUTION: A machine part and a motor part 10 for driving the machine part are horizontally accomodated in a hermetic casing, and a HFC refrigerant 17 and an ester ice machine oil 12 of 1013 Ωcm or more of volume resistance value are sealed in the hermetic casing. A shaft 2 is rotated by the torque of the motor part 10 to move a piston 5, whereby the refrigerant in a compression chamber 7 formed by a sub-bearing 3, a bearing 4 and a cylinder 6 is compressed. When a temperature of a compressor is increased by the heat generated by the compression of the refrigerant, the heat generated in the motor part 10, or the like, the ester ice machine oil and the refrigerant HFC-134a are gradually dissolved, so that the ester ice machine oil and the refrigerant HFC-134a are finally dissolved and two-layered separation is resolved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of ignition of combustible gas by a method wherein a gas discharging device, constituted of a frame, supporting a sheet unit for covering a refrigerating and air-conditioning instruments as well as a working space, an air suction port and an air discharging port, which are opened in the sheet unit, and an explosion-proofing type fan, connected to an exhaust duct connected to the air discharging port, is installed. SOLUTION: A gas discharging device is constituted of a sheet 1, covering a refrigerator 8 and a working space 7, and a frame 2, supporting the sheet 1 from the inside thereof, while the device occupies an area, sufficient to the bottom area of the refrigerator 8 and a working space 7. An air suction port 3 is installed on the upper side of the sheet 1 and an air discharging port 4 is installed on the lower side of the sheet while an exhaust duct 5 is connected to the air discharging port 4. The exhaust duct 5 is connected to an explosion- proofing type fan 6 and the outlet port of the exhaust duct 5 is installed so as to be faced to the outside of a building. During repairing work, the explosion-proofing type fan 6 is rotated at all times to discharge HC refrigerant, remaining and staying in the sheet 1, forcibly to the outside of the building through the air discharging port 4, the exhaust duct 5, the explosion-proofing type fan 6 and the exhaust duct 5. According to this method, affection to the ignition of HC refrigerant is reduced and the safety of repairing work can be improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent wear of a vane and roller in slide contact and enhance the durability of a compressor by forming the tip of each vane from cobalt alloy containing chromium, tungsten, and carbon. CONSTITUTION:A roller 3 mounted on the eccentric part of a shaft 2 rotated by a motor rotates while contacting the bore of a cylinder 4 and the tip of a vane and compresses the gas contained in the cylinder 4. Therein the wane 6 reciprocates within a groove provided in the cylinder 4, and is therefore formed from a cobalt-based alloy containing besides cobalt as major component, 20-40wt.% chromium, 1-20wt.% tungsten, and 1-3wt.% carbon. It may also be accepted that the parent material of the vane 6 is either carbon steel or alloy steel and the tip is formed by metallizing or fillet welding the cobalt-based alloy of the mentioned composition. Thereby the wear of the vane and roller in slide contact can be prevented, which should enhance the durability of the compressor.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness of lubricating oil to a vane so as to prevent abnormal abrasion due to shortage or coagulation or the like of oil, by providing a hydrophilic film of specified contact angle to water on sliding faces, for a vane sliding contacted to the outer periphery of a rotor while sliding on a groove of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 9 is rotated with a motor consisting of a stator 7 and a rotor 8, a roller 10 is rotated eccentrically to compress a gas consisting of refrigerant 1.1.1.2 tetrafluoroethane introduced in a cylinder 11 through an intake tube 14. By pumping action of spiral grooves 9a on the outer periphery of the shaft 9, lubricating oil 16 consisting of glycol based oil or ester based oil stored in the bottom of a hermetic shell 6 is supplied to portions to be lubricated through an oil intake tube 17. Where, on sliding faces 1 of a vane 18 sliding contacted to the outer periphery of the roller 10 while sliding on the groove of the cylinder 11, a hydrophilic film 2 of less than 30 degree in contact angle to water is produced. Thereby the adhesiveness of the lubricating oil 16 to the vane 18 can be improved.
