SOLUTION: Uninstallation of a program a network initiates on a remote module, such as a wireless telephone, is performed on a wireless network to recall a fault or a program stored in a wireless telephone that is harmful to the wireless telephone, the wireless network, or a user of the wireless telephone. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for managing the deleting and reloading of software application components on a wireless device, such as a cellular telephone. SOLUTION: The wireless device has one or more resident executable software applications wherein each application has one or more application components and application-associated data, such as software license and user-specific data. The wireless device selectively deletes one or more application components of the resident software application without loss of the application-associated data to clear resources on the wireless device, and selectively prompts an application download server to transmit deleted application components needed to be reinstalled on the wireless device to execute the application. A method of controlling a graphical user interface (GUI) at a wireless device is disclosed and includes storing a set of audio GUI controls at an interactive voice response server and creating an audio GUI control string that is to be communicated to the wireless device within a voice stream. The audio GUI control string corresponds to a text string that is selectably presentable at the wireless device. Further, the method can include embedding the audio GUI control string within the voice stream. Additionally, the method can include transmitting the voice stream with the embedded audio GUI control string to the wireless device.

A system, method, and computer program for billing wireless device subscribers based upon billable interaction with applications and services resident on third party computer devices that are accessible through a wireless network. The system uses authenticatable transaction data that is created when a wireless device conducts a billable transaction whereby the data is a secure indication that a wireless device has performed a specific billable transaction event. The transaction data can be authenticated and then aggregated to generate billing for billable transaction events that occur on the wireless network. The billing can occur from a billing computer on the network or the aggregated data can be sent to a wireless service provider for ultimate billing to the wireless device subscriber.
