Abstract:
PURPOSE:To surely execute the self-diagnosis in respective parts with simple operation and to improve user's operation convinience by using the self-diagnosis in a reproduction processing system and/or a recordable recording medium and executing the self-diagnosis in a record processing system. CONSTITUTION:A recording and reproducing device 1 recording and reproducing information signals DIN, DOUT on the prescribed recording medium 7 is provided with a self-diagnostic state in addition to a normal operation state (off). Then, the first self-diagnosis (mode 1) using no recording medium 7, the second self- diagnosis (mode 2) using the recording medium 7 recorded with a reference signal and/or the third self-diagnosis (mode 3) using the recordable recording medium 7 are executed. Further, the diagonoses in mechanical systems and servo systems 14-22 are executed by the first self-diagnosis (mode 1), and the diagnoses in the reproduction processing systems 2, 3, 5, 7, are executed by the second self-diagnosis (mode 2), and the diagnoses of the record processing systems 2, 3, 4, 5 are executed by the third self-diagnosis (mode 3).
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform a positive self-diagnosis of an apparatus which contains a complicatedly interconnected mechanical mechanism. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus 200 to be diagnosed is divided into a plurality of areas, an evaluation variable is set in each area, and a diagnosis is executed by using a diagnosis step classified for every area 201 as a unit (110). According to an execution results, points are allotted to the evaluation variable in the area related to the diagnosis step (120, 121), each area is diagnosed by the value of the evaluation variable as the integrated value of the allotted points, and a diagnosed result is displayed (130). Thereby, a self-diagnosis is executed. When the diagnosis is executed, it is not executed to a step which has been judged to be invalid (122, 123) by the execution results of other diagnosis steps. An apparatus which contains a mechanical mechanism can be selected as the apparatus to be diagnosed.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To surely reproduce the information of a data track formed on a magnetic tape by easily correcting positional information even when reproducing position information is not read from a position information track formed in the longitudinal direction of the magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:When a servo circuit for servo-controlling a capstan 8 is in an unlocked state, an IDR signal outputted from an IDR reproducing section 2 by a locking/unlocking time switching section 6, that is, an IDR signal corrected to become a correct value by the traveling speed of a magnetic tape 7 is selected and the signal is outputted as a correct IDR signal. Also, when the capstan 8 is in a locked state, an IDR signal outputted from a locking time processing section 5, that is, an IDR corrected to become a correct value with continuity identified is selected and the signal is outputted as a correct IDR signal.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus which can be compact. SOLUTION: In a module 10, dielectric layers 12A, 12B are provided above and below a substrate 11, an antenna 13 and a frequency converting section 14 for converting a signal transmitted from the outside to a high frequency or low frequency are provided on the dielectric layer 12A, and a signal is communicated to the outside by the antenna 13. The module 10 as a whole is driven by an ultrasonic actuator 30A. The module 10 and the ultrasonic actuator 30A are accommodated in a cabinet 40, the cabinet 40 includes a window 31 limiting a radiation direction of signals of the antenna 13, and a lens 50 for forming signals is provided on the outside of the cabinet 40. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonator capable of reducing the impedance, as compared with those of conventional types, and to provide a method of manufacturing the resonator, and to provide an oscillator and electronic apparatus which is equipped with such a resonator.SOLUTION: In a vibration part 11 for performing resonance vibration by longitudinal wave vibration according to the frequency of an input AC signal Sin, not less than three insulation films 112 are provided. The total of the area (area of Y-Z end face) in respective insulating films 112 within the vibrating part 11 increases, thus reducing the impedance as compared with those of conventional types. The respective insulating films 112 may vibrate along each of two mutually orthogonal directions, within the vibration surface of the vibration part; may vibrate radially toward an outer peripheral direction from the center of a concentric circle; or may vibrate along a circulating direction in a ring-like vibrating part.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a minute resonator of a single structure, capable of outputting signals with two resonance frequencies and inverted in phase to each other, wherein the different resonance frequencies can be adjusted independently. SOLUTION: The minute resonator includes a vibration part 6 supported in a hollow part by support sections 8 (8A, 8B), and an input electrode 3 and an output electrode 4, acting as lower electrodes opposite to the vibration part 6 with the hollow part inbetween, the input electrode 3 and the output electrode 4 are arranged facing each other along a line segment in crossing with the vibration part 6, the vibration part 6 causes twist vibration and deflection vibration, and phases of output signals with the two resonance frequencies close to each other in different resonance modes are shifted with respect to each other by 180 degrees. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove stuck or fixed foreign matter by providing another cleaning device of a cleaning effect reinforcing type for cleaning a working gap forming surface part for operating at the time of judgement of a problem in cleaning effect. SOLUTION: When an electromagnetic plunger main body 6A is driven, a relay lever 6B fitted with its one end to a solenoid of the main body 6A is projected out toward a nonwinding part of a magnetic tape on a rotary head drum 1. Then, an outer peripheral part of a rotor type cleaner 6C fitted freely rotatably at the free end of the relay lever 6B is projected out into a rotary peripheral surface of the working gap forming surface parts of magnetic heads 1A and 1B respectively by a prescribed amt., and the working gaps of these magnetic heads are wiped and cleaned. When driving the electromagnetic plunger main body 6A is released, the relay lever 6B is pulled back by a return spring, and the rotor type cleaner 6C is restored to the state of keeping a position to be in noncontact with the working gap forming surface parts of the magnetic heads 1A and 1B.

PURPOSE:To allow detection of abnormality or failure in an electric appliance and to allow interruption of the operation, as required, by controlling the abnormal or failed part in the electric appliance or the part related thereto. CONSTITUTION:An electric appliance (data recorder) is provided with a plurality of environment detection sensors S1-S13 at respective parts and detection signals therefrom are presented on display means 6, 9. A system controller 2 stores the detection signals in a memory means 3 and a control means 4 controls the parts in the electric appliance related to the detection signals. This constitution allows prediction of the occurrence of abnormality or failure in the electric appliance.
