Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a unit configuration itself flexible by allowing a plurality of equipment to receive the same or different programs and data or the like, simplifying the equipment configuration, realizing high profitability and eliminating the restriction of installed location and distance. SOLUTION: A reception antenna 1 and a front end 2 receive a digital satellite broadcast and transmit a received TS packet to a demultiplexer 3. An MPEG2 video signal or the like separated from the TS packet by the demultiplexer 3 is processed by corresponding decodes 5, 8, 10. Furthermore, the TS packet received via the reception antenna 1 and the front end 2 is sent to a data conversion section 12. The data conversion section 12 generates an Etharnet frame resulting from adding a header including a sender IP address and a destination IP address to the TS packet and distributes the Ethernet frame to other receiver via the Ethernet connected to a terminal 13.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate retrieval of an image of a queue review and to attain high speed dubbing in the case of reproducing data of a variable bit rate by a method such as the MPEG 2 in the helical scanning recording and reproducing device that records data of a computer or the like on a tape medium by helical scanning. SOLUTION: In a helical scanning recording and reproducing device 6 in which a difference between a recording rate and a data transfer speed is eliminated through intermittent drive of a tape and the utilizing efficiency of the tape is improved, data are continuously reproduced at a constant speed without intermittent reproduction in the case of reproduction of the MPEG 2 queue. In the case of dubbing, data are continuously reproduced at a constant speed without adopting intermittent tape feed. A reproduction data storage section made up of a hard disk unit or the like to store just preceding reproduction data is provided in a buffer section 62, and a review image is displayed by using reproduction data stored in the reproduction data storage section in the case of a review.

CONSTITUTION:In the upper part of one side of a main body 2 of a video tape recorder VTR 1, an electronic view finder EVF 3 is provided. Also, on the upper face of the EVF 3, an edit switch 4 is attached. In this case, since the edit switch 4 provided in a position shown with a dotted line up to the present is moved to a position shown with a full line, a position of a button 5 of the edit switch can be confirmed easily in a state of peeping into the EVF 3, and the EVF 3 can be confirmed, and can be operated surely. In such a way, generation of a malfunction is prevented, and the operability can be improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a user from failing to reproduce a recorded picture by automatically stopping recording or stopping recording by the user in response to an alarm at the time when drum phase servo is off and cannot be followed by a servo circuit. CONSTITUTION:A signal CT and a signal SF are supplied to a microcomputer 30, and the phase difference between both signals is detected by a phase difference detecting process 31. A servo off duration discriminating process 32 discriminates whether the absence of the fall of the signal SF is continued for a prescribed time or longer in the width of period OK or not; and if it is discriminated that the servo off state is continued for the prescribed time or longer, the recording mode state is released and tape running is stopped and shut off by the discrimination output, or an alarm tone is emitted or an alarm lamp is lit. Thus, the state that reproduced pictures cannot be obtained at all is prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily execute photographing for keeping a size against a picture frame constant with regard to a moving object, by providing a focusing circuit, and a zooming circuit for keeping a size of an object against the picture frame constant even if a distance between a camera and the object is varied due to a movement of the object to be photographed. CONSTITUTION:A focusing circuit 10 rotates a focusing lens barrel 3 by a prescribed angle theta1. This focal distance is determined clearly by a distance (s) to an object 13, and based on the distance (s) to the object 13, a prescribed driving signal is outputted to a motor 8 by a data which has been set in advance so as to be focused. A zooming circuit 9 displaces a position of a zoom lens by rotating a zooming lens barrel 2 by a prescribed angle thetaz in order to make a size of the object 13 constant in a picture frame of a view finder, based on a distance measured by a distance measuring means 12. That is, the focal distance becomes f=beta/beta-1.s. In this way, a focal distance (f) for making a size beta of the object 13 in the picture frame constant is determined clearly from the distance (s) to the object 13.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing apparatus which has a cassette loading device realizing an easy ejection of a cassette by rendering a cassette holding length longer upon the cassette ejection even for a small cassette having a short depth. SOLUTION: In this device, a cassette inserted from a cassette inserting slot is moved to a loading position for recording/reproducing operations and an eject position for an ejecting operation while being accommodated into a cassette holder 20 which concurrently moves with a movement of driving sliders 5 and 6. In this case, a cassette pushing arm 50 is provided at an upper frame 7 of the driving sliders 5 and 6. When the cassette is moved at the eject position, the cassette is pushed out of the cassette holder 20 by a reverse operation of the cassette pushing arm 50 and a spring force of an toggle spring 53 as an assisting force. Thus, an ejecting amount of the cassette is rendered large with respect to the cassette inserting slot, thereby realizing an easy ejection of the cassette.

When the master lid 5 is closed from the above state, the cassette holder 64 is pushed down into an LS chassis 53 of a cassette controller 50 to be down. In linkage with this operation, the LS chassis 53 is put in an loading operation, and the operating pin 83 of the cassette holder 64 is separated from the hooked piece part 101 of the master lid 5 so that mechanical combination of the master lid 5 with the cassette controller 50 is dissolved. Afterward, a subordinate lid 6 is capable of its closing operation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a video camera which can keep the high positional precision between each substrate and a housing body together with easy connection secured between them by fixing a main substrate, i.e., main printed board to a mechanical deck and also connecting the secondary substrates to the main substrate via a floating connector. CONSTITUTION:A mechanical deck 1 is mechanically fixed to a housing body, and a main substrate 4 is positioned almost precisely to the deck 1 via holder 3. Meanwhile, the secondary substrates 6 and 7 are connected to the substrate 4 via the floating connectors 5a and 5e and 5b and 5f respectively. Therefore some errors, if caused, when both substrates 6 and 7 are precisely positioned to the housing body, are absorbed by the floating connectors and can be corrected. Furthermore a 3rd secondary substrate 8 is connected to the substrate 4 via pairs of floating connectors 5c/5g and 5d/5h. Thus the substrate 8 can be easily connected to the substrate 4 even if some errors are caused at the packaging position of each floating connector 5.
