    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title fiber having mechanical characteristics, flame retardance, excellent high-temperature dimensional stability and dyeability by spinning a solution of wholly aromatic polyamide in a solvent having a specific concentration into an aqueous coagulating bath at a specific temperature and treating the fiber under tension. CONSTITUTION:In obtaining the objective fiber by spinning a solution of wholly aromatic polyamide having a repeating unit comprising >=85mol% m-phenylene terephthalamide unit into a coagulating bath having >=40wt.% calcium chloride and >=70 deg.C bath temperature, then washing the fiber with water, drawing in a wet state and drying, an aqueous solution of an amide-based solvent (e.g. at least one comprising N-methylpyrrolidone and N,N-dimethylacetamide) having >=80 deg.C bathing temperature and 20-60wt.% concentration is used as a wetting drawing bath or fiber once drawn in hot water is stretched in an aqueous solution of the amide-based solvent having >=80 deg.C bathing temperature and 20-60wt.% concentration.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject yarn suitable for electric insulating material, fire proofing wear, filter or interior material of vehicles, etc., having excellent continuity of heat resistance, nonflammability and dimensional stability at high temperature, containing diaminodiphenylether is diamine component and specific component of acid anhydride component. CONSTITUTION:The aimed fiber is composed of 4,4'-diaminodiphenylether as diamine component and acid anhydride component of (A) pyromellitic dianhydride and (B) 3,3', 4,4'-benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride and/or 3,3', 4,4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride and fraction of the component A in the acid anhydride is 85-35mol%. To obtain said fiber, at first above monomers are reacted to form polyamic acid solution, then spun to fiber by wet or dry spinning method and at last converted to polyimide by cyclization with heat or chemical means.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the titled fiber outstanding in both steaming and fatigue resistances, having both high strength and Young's modulus, useful for various industrial materials, consisting of an aromatic polyamide copolymer constituted of two kinds of structural units incorporated with respective specific diamines. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber can be obtained by spinning, in a conventional manner, an aromatic polyamide copolymer constituted of (1) 80-20mol% of structural unit of formula I (X is methyl or Cl) and (2) 20-80mol% of another structural unit of formula II. Said aromatic polyamide copolymer can favorably be prepared by dissolving in an amide solvent, two diamine components: (A) 2, 2'-dimethylbenzidine and/or 2, 2'-dichlorobenzidine and (B) 1,4-bis(p-aminophenoxy)benzene in the molar ratio A/B=8/20-20/80 followed by adding (C) an equimolar amount, to said diamine components, of terephthaloyl chloride to carry out a polycondensation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:A fully aromatic polyether-ester excellent in heat resistance, flame retardancy and mechanical and electrical properties, prepared by subjecting a specified phenyl acetate compound and a specified 4, 4'-oxydibenzoic acid to an acetic acid elimination polymerization. CONSTITUTION:A fully aromatic polyether-ester consisting of structural units represented by formulaI, wherein n is 3 or 4, can be produced by an acetic acid elimination polymerization process in which 4, 4'-oxydibenzoic acid and a compound of formula II, wherein n is 3 or 4, are used as monomers, or by a phenol elimination polymerization process in which a compound of formula III, wherein n is 3 or 4, and a diphenyl 4, 4'-oxydibenzoate ester are used as monomers. USE:This polyether-ester is useful, in the form of fiber, for filters, heat-resistant electrical insulating materials, fabrics, paper and useful, in the form of film, for uniaxially or biaxially stretched films, heat-resistant electrical insulating materials.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a better performance membrane as a selective permeable membrane easily from a block polyether-urethane copolymer composed of polyurethane and polyethylene glycol. CONSTITUTION:The block polyether-urethane copolymer is prepared from ethylene glycol, a polyurethane whose main component is 4,4'-diphenylmethanediisocyanate, and polyethylene glycol, and then the copolymer thus obtained is made into the membrane which can be used as the selective permeable membrane for the dialysis of blood, etc. Thus, the membrane having excellent selective perviousness can be easily manufactured by a simplified process.
