Abstract:
An exoskeleton (105) comprises a torso brace (120), configured to be coupled to a torso of a user (100), and a leg support (155), configured to be coupled to a leg (165) of the user (100). A plurality of links couples the torso brace (120) to the leg support (155). The plurality of links includes a first link (125), coupled to the torso brace (120) at a first pivot point (130), and a second link (145), coupled to the leg support (155) at a second pivot point (160). The first link (125) is coupled to the second link (145) through a third pivot point (150) located between the first (130) and second pivot points (160). The first pivot point (130) enables adduction of the leg support (155), and the third pivot point (150) enables abduction of the leg support (155).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a garment for sports, health exercise, physiotherapy or another performance, the garment comprising a body part (BP) of the garment and one or more limb parts (L1, L2, H1, H2) of the garment which extend from the body part of the garment. The garment comprises one or more elastic reinforcements (B1, B2, B3) routed in the garment in accordance with one or more fascial lines (FL1, FL2, FL3) of a human body. The elastic reinforcements form a network, being provided both on a front side of the garment and a rear side of the garment.
Abstract:
In at least one aspect, there is provided a system for generating force about one or more joints including a soft exosuit having a plurality of anchor elements and at least one connection element disposed between the plurality of anchor elements. The system also includes at least one sensor to determine a force the at least one connection element or at least one of the plurality of anchor elements and to output signals relating to the force, at least one actuator configured to change a tension in the soft exosuit and at least one controller configured to receive the signals output from the at least one sensor and actuate the at least one actuator responsive to the received signals.
Abstract:
A massage cushion assembly for providing a massage to a user resting on the massage cushion assembly is provided. The massage cushion assembly includes a body supporting portion having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, a base portion defining one or more slots extending longitudinally through the base portion, and a massage unit including one or more massage members. Each of the massage members is movable along a length of a particular slot and between a raised position and a lowered position. Each massage member is further positioned in a particular slot such that a head portion of the massage member extends out of the slot and presses against the second surface of the body supporting portion when the massage member is in the raised position.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a total-body exerciser, and more particularly, to a total-body exerciser capable of rotating and vertically moving each part of the body in order to exercise the waist, back, abdomen, and knee joints. The total-body exerciser according to the present invention comprises: an upper-body exercising unit; a buttocks exercising unit; and an ankle exercising unit. The upper-body exercising unit comprises: an upper-body support for supporting the upper body; an upper-body supporting guide rail formed on the bottom surface of the upper-body support and enabling the upper-body support to move horizontally; and a rotating bracket mounted on a lower surface of the upper-body supporting guide rail so as to enable the upper-body support to rotate about a base frame contacting the ground. The buttocks exercising unit comprises: a buttocks support for supporting the buttocks; and a buttocks-supporting height-adjusting cylinder connected to a lower portion of the buttocks support, and capable of adjusting the height of the buttocks support. The ankle exercising unit comprises: an ankle support for supporting an ankle; an ankle-supporting guide rail formed on a bottom surface of the ankle support and enabling horizontal movement of the ankle support; and a rotating bracket mounted on a lower surface of the ankle-support guide rail to enable the ankle support to rotate about a base frame contacting the ground.
