    Abstract: An image-forming apparatus is provided to control a surface potential of a photosensitive medium uniformly before transferring of an image, by regulating the amount of light emitted from a pre-transferring lamp according to a condition of the image. An electrostatic latent image is formed on a photosensitive medium(10). At least one developing unit(20) develops the electrostatic latent image. A transferring unit(30) transfers the developed image onto a print medium. A pre-transferring lamp(40) applies light to the photosensitive medium.
