Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a case of a portable electronic device is provided to achieve excellent three dimensional effects on the exterior of a case by forming patterns on the interior side of the case through laser processing. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a case of a portable electronic device comprises steps of: manufacturing a metal case material suitable for the exterior shape of a portable electronic device(11), forming patterns on the interior side of the case material through laser processing(13), and forming hair lines on the exterior side of the case material(15).

PURPOSE: A sliding device and a portable communication device including the same are provided to extend the lifetime of spring using compression and extension springs altogether for sliding. CONSTITUTION: A rotary supporting member(130) comprises the first accommodation space and is fixed and coupled to the body housing. A sliding member comprises the second accommodation space and is fixed and coupled to the sliding housing. The sliding member is combined with the rotary supporting member to slide in the sliding of the sliding housing. A pair of compressive springs(150) is included in the first accommodation space and provides the compressive force for the sliding. A pair of extension springs(160) is included in the second accommodation space and provides the tensile force for the sliding.

A method for setting up the part within the appearance case of the electronic device is provided to minimize the size of the electronic product. The electronic device(10) using the LDS is comprised of the upper appearance case(11) and the lower appearance case(12). The resin(30) for LDS is attached within the lower appearance case by the double injection and insert injection. The parts of the electronic device are successively mounted in the resin for LDS. The antenna(90), the earphone jack(50), the RXD, the other hardware component etc are equipped In the lower appearance case. A hinge device of a portable terminal is provided to decrease the damage to the external appearance of a housing and implement the opening of the portable terminal by a simple operation of a button. A first hinge cam(101) is extended to a longitudinal direction and has a cylindrical shape. The first hinge cam includes a first corn-shaped part(111), a linear protrusion(113), and a rotation guide. A second hinge cam is received in the first hinge cam. The second hinge cam includes a second corn-shaped part(121), an insertion hole(123), and a protrusion(125). The second corn-shaped part is adjacent to the first corn shaped part. The protrusion is geared with an inner side of the first hinge cam. The second hinge cam is linearly moved inside the first hinge cam. An elastic member(104) is positioned in the other side of a rotation cam(103). The elastic member maintains the stop state of the rotation cam by providing the elastic force to the rotation cam.

A rotative hinge device of a portable terminal, a dual hinge device having the rotative hinge device, and a swing type portable terminal are provided to enable a hinge device to move in a straight way or curved way when a folder is rotated, so that the folder can be near to a body housing, thereby reducing an unnecessary rotative space, consequently the terminal can be miniaturized. A base member(110) is coupled with a connection member(30). A rotative member(120) is coupled with a folder(20). The first and second guide pins(130,140) are equipped on the rotative member. The first guide member(150) guides straight motion of the first guide pin(130) when the rotative member is rotated at the second hinge shaft. The second guide member(160) guides/moves the second guide pin(140) in a curved way when the rotative member is rotated at the second hinge shaft as guiding/moving the second hinge shaft in a curved way, so as to locate an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) of the folder on the center with the connection member as a central figure. A force supply unit(170) provides forces for moving the guide pins(130,140) in a straight or curved way.
