Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a double open hood latch device for vehicles which provides user convenience for opening a hood and improves the marketability by enabling the hood to be opened from inside when a release lever is operated twice, while a double-locking safety lever is removed from an existing safety lever structure and the hood latch itself has the double-locking function. To achieve the prescribed purpose, the double open hood latch device for vehicles according to the present invention includes: a first and a second locking groove formed inside an upper locking protrusion to insert and fixate a hood striker; a claw which is installed on a base plate to be rotated in order to single-lock and double-lock the hood striker when the hood is closed by the locking protrusion; and a pole which singly and doubly stops the rotation of the claw by using the locking protrusion.
