    Abstract: The invention relates to a molding material comprising 45 to 95 wt. % styrene and 1.1-diphenylethylene copolymer(S/DPE copolymer) with 37 to 85 wt. % polymerized styrene units and 15 to 63 wt. % polymerized 1.1-diphenylethylene units or a styrene-S/DPE double block copolymer whose S/DPE block has the above-mentioned composition. The inventive molding material also contains 5 to 55 wt. % of a rubber-elastic microsuspension graft polymer consisting of particles with a diameter d50 of 30 mu m or less with a rubber-elastic graft core consisting of units of one or several C2-36-alkyl-acrylic esters with a glass transmission temperature Tg lower than -10 DEG C and a graft shell made of at least 50 wt. % polymerized styrene units.

The segment surfaces of molding materials A and B are joined to each in the shaped body. The inventive shaped bodies can be used in the automobile industry, e.g. as air or coolant ducts.

    Abstract: In a process for producing modified rubber moulding materials, a first mixture (A) that contains at least one alkyl acrylate or methacrylate (a) having the general formula (I), in which R stands for a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and R stands for an alkyl group with 1 to 32 carbon atoms, a first monomer (b) with two or more double bonds and optionally a second or several other monomers (c), is in a first step polymerised into a rubber (B), preferably together with free radicals. In a second step, the thus obtained rubber (B) is dissolved into or swollen with a third or several other monomers (d), optionally with admixture of a solvent, and in a third step, the second mixture (C) obtained by dissolving or swelling is polymerised into the modified rubber moulding material (D).
