Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of cyclic carbonates of formula I or mixtures thereof in epoxy resin compositions, and epoxy resin compositions that contain such cyclic carbonates. In said formula R 1 and R 2 represent, independently of one another, hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 5 -C 6 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl or C 2 -C 6 -alkinyl, or R 1 and R 2 together represent a C 3 -C 11 -alkylene group; R 3 and R 4 represent, independently of one another, hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 5 -C 6 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl or C 2 -C 6 -alkinyl, or R 3 and R 4 together represent a C 4 -C 6 -alkylene group; or mixtures thereof, as an additive in epoxy resin compositions.
Abstract:
A shaped body comprising at least one solid material and a cured epoxy resin wherein the cured epoxy resin is prepared from an epoxy resin composition containing at least one epoxy resin having at least one epoxy group per molecule; at least one curing agent selected from cyanoalkylated polyamines of formula (A) A(NH—X—CN), wherein A is a group selected from aryl, arylalkyl, alkyl, and cycloalkyl, wherein A does not contain a primary amino group, X is alkylene having 1 to 10 C-atoms, and n≧2; and at least one accelerator selected from tertiary amines, imidazoles, guanidines, urea compounds, and Lewis acids.
Abstract:
The invention relates to amino plastic particles, which are made of at least one amino plastic, wherein the particles have a specific surface area of 1 to 500 m 2 /g and an average particle diameter of 5 to 500 µm. The invention further relates to a method for producing said amino plastic particles, a molded body that contains amino plastic particles, a production method for the molded body, and the use of the amino plastic particles and of the molded body, for example as a plastic membrane in batteries.
Abstract:
A process for curing epoxy resins which comprises curing epoxy resin compositions comprising a) epoxy resins and b) a compound of the general formula (I) in which R 1 and R 2 independently of one another are hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 5 -C 6 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl or C 2 -C 6 -alkynyl, or R 1 and R 2 together are a C 3 -C 11 -alkylene group; R 3 and R 4 independently of one another are hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 5 -C 6 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl or C 2 -C 6 -alkynyl, or R 3 and R 4 together are a C 4 -C 6 -alkylene group; by adding amino hardeners, and the curing takes place in the presence of a compound of the following formula (II) in which at least one of the radicals R11, R12 and R13 is a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 C atoms, which is substituted with a hydroxyl group and optionally remaining radicals R11 to R13 are an unsubstituted hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 C atoms.
