CONSTITUTION:An elastic body film 10 and wall material 12 are stuck to each other and an electric viscous liquid 16 is filled into a space between the elastic body film 10 and a flat-platelike negative electrode 14.     Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a process capable of inexpensively and easily yielding a powder which gives an electroviscous fluid and is uniform in particle diameter and electrical conductivity. CONSTITUTION: A thermosetting resin such as a phenol resin is mixed with ethyl silicate. A hardener such as a toluenesulfonic acid is added to the mixture to obtain a solid resin. The resin is treated with a pulverizing classifier to obtain a powder uniform in particle diameter. The powder is carbonized in an inert gas atmosphere such as argon, for example, at 560 deg.C for 2hr to produce a powder which gives the electroviscous fluid and is uniform in particle diameter and electrical conductivity.
