    Abstract: PURPOSE: To increase the heat-exchanging property of a condenser which is provided in a refrigerator main body. CONSTITUTION: At a lower rear part of a refrigerator main body 1, a machine chamber 2 is partitioned with an external box bottom plate 3, mounting plate and machine chamber cover 8. Then, on the mounting plate, a condenser 4, a condenser 5 which is located on the upstream side of the condenser 4, compressor 6 and an evaporation tray are arranged. On the machine cover 8, air discharging ports 11, 19 and rear side air inlet 10 are provided. Then, on the tilted surface part of the external box bottom plate 3, a front side air inlet 9 is provided. The air discharging port 11 is opened between the condenser 4 and compressor 6.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of defrosting, improve preservation of freshness of food as a result thereof, and reduce power consumption in a freezing refrigerator. SOLUTION: A freezing refrigerator are provided with a cooling system wherein a compressor 11, a condenser, and a first pressure reducing means are connected in order in series between the first pressure reducing means and a second evaporator 5 provided in a freezing room 2 are connected in parallel a first evaporator 4 provided in a refrigerating room 3 with a refrigerant control valve arranged at the inlet part thereof and a second pressure reducing means, a first chill circulating means 6, a second chill circulating means 7, and a defrosting heater 10. When defrosting the second evaporator by energizing the defrosting heater 10 at a first specified timing, operation of the compressor 11 is stopped, the refrigerant control valve is closed, and the first chill circulating means 6 is operated, thereby reducing the quantity of frost attaching to the second evaporator 5 in particular, reducing a temperature rise in the chamber during defrosting, improving preservation of freshness of food, and operation time for normal operation after defrosting.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy by canceling a defrosting operation and setting a normal cooling operation only when a temperature change rate between the temperature at the time of starting the defrosting operation and the temperature after a lapse of a given time from the starting of defrosting operation is larger than a predetermined value. SOLUTION: An evaporator 3 is monitored by a temperature sensor 17 which constitutes temperature detecting means and is arranged in a space located above and at a right side of the evaporator 3. In response to an output of the temperature sensor 17, the temperature change of the evaporator 3 within a given time is calculated by temperature calculating means 18. It is judged whether the calculated result falls within a predetermined temperature difference or not. In such a judgment, only when the calculated result exceeds the predetermined temperature difference, a defrosting switch 19 is turned off so that a defrosting mode is canceled and an operation returns to a normal operation mode. Due to such a construction, electric energy which becomes necessary for feeding electricity to a defrosting heater 6 and electric energy for cooling the heat generation rate of the defrosting heater 6 can be reduced thus enabling an energy saving.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To curb effervescence of liquid refrigerant at the outlet header of an evaporator and make a sudden liquid back less possible to occur by a method wherein for a preliminarily set time at the start a minimum value is set for the number of revolutions of the compressor and subsequently the operation is controlled at an optimal number of revolutions for the control of the storage temperature. SOLUTION: A freeze chamber temperature differential-calculating means 24 calculates the temperature differential between the freeze chamber temperature detected by a freeze chamber temperature detective means 21 and the set temperature for the freeze chamber 8 detected by a freeze chamber temperature-setting means 23 and from the temperature differential a revolution speed-calculating means 25 decides the revolution speed of the compressor 17 and an inverter circuit 26 operates the compressor 17 at the decided number of revolutions. The compressor is operated at the minimum revolution speed according to a minimum revolution speed command- transmitting means 43, at a preset time a timer 42 stops transmitting a revolution speed command, and the number of revolutions of the compressor 17, decided by a revolution speed-calculating means 25, is transmitted. This method makes a sudden liquid back less possible to occur.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling capacity and to maintain the performance of an evaporator high by providing temperature detecting means in a deep freezing chamber and a cold storage chamber, and providing cold control means for operating a compressor, air outlet switching means and cold air circulating means to switch the freezing chamber and the outlet. SOLUTION: The temperature of a deep freezing chamber 1 is detected by deep freezing chamber temperature detecting means 3, and it is detected that the detected temperature exceeds the previously set predetermined deep freezing chamber temperature and the upper limit of the deep freezing chamber temperature range. Cool control means 16 receives the detected signal, operates the compressor 15 and cold air circulating means 8, air output switching means 26 is so operated as to open a deep freezing chamber air outlet 24 to cool the freezing chamber 1. When it is detected that the temperature of the chamber 1 is lowered and the means 3 detects to exceed the lower limit of the deep freezing chamber temperature range, the means 16 receives the detection signal, stops the compressor 15 and the means 8, the means 26 closes the outlet 24 to stop the cooling. The cold storage chamber 2 is similarly operated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain energy saving effect by stopping the operation of an oil cooler when the temperature of a compressor is low. CONSTITUTION: The delivery route 2 of refrigerant from a compressor 1 is branched into first and second delivery routes 15, 16 while the first delivery route 15 is connected to an oil cooler 6 and the oil cooler 6 is connected to a main condenser 7. The second delivery route 16 is connected to the main condenser 7 through a bypass valve without passing through the oil cooler 6. A compressor oil temperature detecting means 11 is provided and when the temperature of the compressor 1 becomes low, the discharged refrigerant from the compressor 1 is sent to the main condenser 7 through the bypass valve without passing through the oil cooler 6 by opening the bypass valve whereby the excessive reduction in the temperature of the compressor 1 is prevented and energy saving effect can be obtained.
