    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the rightward or leftward inclination of a shelf, to move the shelf by a relatively small force and to eliminate disturbance of entrance of food in a lower part by forming of upper and lower rollers fixed to left and right innermost parts of a frame, and so disposing the upper roller as to be brought into contact with this side of a slide groove and the lower roller as to be brought into contact with the innermost side face of the groove under the upper roller. CONSTITUTION:An upper roller 3a, a lower roller 3b and a spur gear 5 are disposed in the innermost part of a frame 2. Accordingly, the larger a load to be applied to a shelf 1 is increased, better the roller 3a is brought into contact with this face of a slide groove 14a, and the stronger the roller 3b is brought into contact with the innermost side face of the groove 14a. Since the gear 5 is strongly engaged with a rack 14b so that their rotary frictional force is increased, the frame 2 for holding the shelf 1 is tightly held at its position to eliminate dropping, lateral inclination of the shelf 1. A large force is not required to move the shelf 1 while placing food on the shelf 1, and the shelf 1 is not inclined.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To free a rack from excessive tilting and make it movable with ease by a mechanism in which an upper roller and lower roller attached to a frame for holding a rack at inmost positions at the right and the left are fitted in and held by vertical sliding grooves and gears and stoppers are provided to the frame and racks for the gears inside the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:An upper roller 3a and a lower roller 3b are attached at an inmost position to a frame 2 for holding a rack and rolled and held in a vertical sliding groove 13a inside a refrigerator. The two rollers are put out of alignment, the upper roller 3a drawn slightly to the front and the lower roller 3b pushed slightly to the back. To the frame 2 are provided a gear 5 meshing with a rack 14 set vertically inside the refrigerator and a stopper 7 engaging with a ratchet 6. By pulling a wire 12 the stopper is put out of engagement so that the upper and lower rollers roll to vertically move with ease. After the movement, the rollers are held securely with the upper roller on the front side of the sliding groove and the lower roller on the back side; this confinement within the breadth of the sliding groove does not allow the rack to tilt excessively.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form an air return passage, secure a necessary inlet port, lessen the resistance of an air passage, and obtain a sufficient cooling performance by providing openings on the side walls of partition plates dividing the interior of a freezing chamber, and further by disposing an inlet port at a position where the partition plates abut against a duct cover. CONSTITUTION:The side walls of partition plates 13a and 13b for dividing the interior of a freezing chamber 2 into two parts and forming the right and left chambers are provided with openings 16a and 16b, respectively, and a lower part where the partition plates 13a and 13b abut against a duct cover 7 is further provided with an inlet port 17. The openings 16a, 16b and the inlet port 17 form an air passage communicating to one another. Since it is so designed that an air return passage is formed between the partition plates 13a and 13b, the resistance of the inlet air passage is lessened to a great extent.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent freezing of food to be cold-stored without disposing a special heater, etc., in a cold storage chamber by forcibly operating a motor- driven blower for deodorizer when the atmospheric air temperature is low. CONSTITUTION:If the atmospheric air temperature is lower than a predetermined value, the resistance value RTH of an atmospheric air temperature thermistor 40, the input voltage A of a comparator 41 becomes higher than a voltage B, and the output of a comparator 42 becomes 'T'. Accordingly, the output of an OR circuit 42 becomes 'H' irrespective of the output of a timer 35, a transistor 43 is turned ON, and a motor-driven blower 24 is turned ON. Even when a switch 34 is closed to operate a deodorizing operation, if the output of the timer 35 is 'H', an ozone generator 29 is turned ON, while if the output of the timer 35 is 'L', the generator 29 is turned OFF, the blower 4 remains ON, and deodorizing capacity is sufficiently performed. Accordingly, when the atmospheric air temperature is low, the blower 24 is forcibly operated to be used as a thermal load, the temperature of a cold storage chamber 10 does not become 0 deg.C or lower to prevent food from freezing.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To regulate the temperature of each freezing chamber to be an adequate temperature by providing cold air return ducts for No.2 and No.3 freezing chambers, that pass through the inside of No.2 partition wall, a temperature control device located in the rear part of No.1 freezing chamber, and the inside of No.1 partition wall. CONSTITUTION:Cold air discharged to No.1 freezing chamber 3 through a dumper thermostat 14b is returned to a refrigerating device 8 through a cold air return duct A2a. Cold air discharged to No.2 freezing chamber 5 through a dumper thermostat 14a is distributed to No.2 and No.3 freezing chambers 5 and 7 through a convection port 6a on a partition wall 6, and then returned to the refrigerating device 8 through a cold air return duct B16 in No.2 partition wall 4, a cold air return duct C17 in a temperature control device 13, and a cold air return duct D18 in No.1 partition wall. Thus, by providing the cold air return ducts B16, C17, and D18 that pass through No.2 partition wall 4, the temperature control device 13, and No.1 partition wall 2, the returning cold air from No.2 and No.3 freezing chambers returns to the refrigerating device 8 without passing through No.1 freezing chamber. Therefore, even when No.1 or No.2 freezing chamber is assigned to a low temperature compartment, each compartment can be regulated to an adequate temperature without generating of irregular temperature zones and over-cooling.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To simplify an internal structure of a thermostat and improve temperature control accuracy by providing a shutter on a part of a thermostat container box, and making variable exhausted cold air to a temperature sensitive section of the thermostat with the shutter. CONSTITUTION: A thermostat 10 contained in a container box 12 includes a heat sensitive section 13 for detecting temperature of cold air, which section detects exhausted cold air from an air fan 6 through a slit hole 14 provided in a side wall of a thermostat container box 12 and keeps properly predetermined temperature in a freezing chamber. Herein, a shutter 16 is provided in the side wall of the container box 12. More specifically, an opening of the slit hole 14 is made variable with the shutter 16 to adjust the inflow amount of the cold air whereby opening upon cutting-out or compressor operation time is changed to adjust the temperature in the freezing chamber 4. Hereby, the need of an additional temperature characteristic adjusting mechanism of an internal mechanism of the thermostat is eliminated, and temperature accuracy is improved.
