Abstract:
There is provided a touch panel capable of obtaining a stable connection resistance without requiring fitting accuracy at the time of the connection to an external terminal, and a protective panel for a display window of an electronic device using the same. The analog type touch panel includes a touch side substrate 2 and a non-touch side substrate 3 each having resistive films 2a, 3a provided on opposed inner surfaces thereof. Through-holes 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d formed at the periphery of the non-touch side substrate 3. A connecting part 5 for electrically connecting electrodes of the resistive films 2a, 3a to an external terminal, in which a conductive paste is injected into the through-holes and a rivet 14 is inserted into each of the through-holes from the lower surface side so that a head of the rivet 14 forms flat connecting electrodes 15a, 15b for connection to the external terminal on the lower surface of the non-touch side substrate 3.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel allowing improvement of visibility by preventing occurrence of Newton's rings, and to provide a portable device using the same. SOLUTION: In this touch panel, a transparent adhesive layer 3 as a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is filled in a gap between an upper transparent electrode substrate 1 and a lower transparent electrode substrate 2, thereby eliminating an air layer. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistive film type touch panel for determining the bond in pre-shipping inspection.SOLUTION: The resistive film type transparent touch panel is configured by laminating first and second members so that first and second transparent conductive films face each other with a predetermined gap.In the first member, a first transparent conductive film as a resistance film is formed on the upper face of a transparent board, and a first pair of electrodes for position detection are formed at the both ends of the first direction of the first transparent conductive film. In the second member, a second transparent conductive film as a resistance film is formed on the lower face of a flexible transparent film, and a second pair of electrodes for position detection are formed at the both ends of a second direction which is orthogonal to the first direction of the second transparent conductive film. The depressing point is detected on the basis of the potentials of the first and the second pairs of electrodes for position detection. An FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit) forming a connector section for electric connection with an external circuit is formed on a connection terminal where an anisotropic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer whose resistance value is decreased with a pressure is inserted between a first member and a second member, and fixed by thermo-compression bonding by the anisotropic pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel integrated resin molding whose structure accuracy is raised by suppressing deformation of a touch panel. SOLUTION: In the touch panel integrated resin molding integrally molded by inserting the touch panel into a metal mold in injection molding of the resin molding constituting a housing of electronic equipment, the touch panel has a planar support substrate on the opposite side of an input surface, a deficit part is provided on the rear side of the support substrate, and a reinforcement member having rigidity higher than that of the support substrate is fitted in the deficit part. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for change in the frequency response of vibration elements mounted on a touch panel with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A touch sensor 39 includes a touch panel 7, a first vibration element 9A, a second vibration element 9B, and an element driving unit 37. The first vibration element 9A and the second vibration element 9B are mounted on the touch panel 7. The element driving unit 37 vibrates the first vibration element 9A and the second vibration element 9B using a driving signal when the touch panel 7 is operated. The element driving unit 37 obtains a detection signal from the second vibration element 9B while vibrating the first vibration element 9A. Thus, the element driving unit 37 searches for a resonant frequency for vibrating the first vibration element 9A and the second vibration element 9B to determine the frequency of the driving signal.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure detection part for improving the precision of sensitivity so that accurate information input can be performed by a pressurizing operation in an information input device.SOLUTION: A pressure detection part arranged in the peripheral edge of a panel member in an information input device, and configured to detect a pressurizing operation with respect to the panel member is provided with: a first substrate 21; a second substrate 22 arranged so as to be faced to the first substrate 21; a pressure-sensitive layer arranged between the first substrate 21 and the second substrate 22; and a first electrode 21A formed on the first substrate 21 and a second electrode 22A formed on the second substrate 22 so that a resistance change via the pressure-sensitive layer can be detected. The first electrode 21A and the second electrode 22A are formed at positions where they are not faced to each other on the normal of the first substrate 21 and the second substrate 22, and a loop-shaped series circuit is formed of the first electrode 21A, the second electrode 22A and the pressure-sensitive layer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a narrow frame touch input sheet in which a narrow frame transparent conductive film pattern is suitable to a two-layer capacitance type touch sensor, a laminated narrow frame touch input sheet and a method for manufacturing a narrow frame touch input sheet. SOLUTION: The narrow frame touch input sheet and its manufacturing method are formed by a method which simultaneously etches a transparent conductive film and a light shielding conductive film for electrode, forms an elongated routing circuit pattern in which the transparent conductive film and the light shielding conductive film for electrode are sequentially laminated in the same pattern at the outer frame edge without a positional deviation, then, in a covered state forms a second resist layer on the elongated routing circuit pattern, and etches only a light shielding conductive film layer for electrode on which the second resist layer is not formed to thereby expose and form a circuit pattern of a transparent conductive film at a central window.
