    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) may receive a feedback configuration for providing feedback for downlink communications from a base station. Based on the feedback configuration, the UE may determine whether one or more feedback processes has a multicast-only configuration for multicast data communications, or a multicast-or-unicast configuration for either multicast data communications or unicast data communications. The UE may decode one or more transmissions associated with the one or more feedback processes based on the multicast-only or multicast-or-unicast configuration, and may determine a feedback codebook based on the multicast-only or multicast-or-unicast configuration of the one or more feedback processes. The UE may monitor for retransmissions of one or more multicast data communications based on the feedback process configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) may be configured for discontinuous reception (DRX) operations using wakeup signals. The UE may monitor periodic wakeup signal occasions for wakeup signals and, in the event that the UE detects a wakeup indication that the UE is to initiate an active duration, the UE may power on transmit/receive circuity for communications with a base station. In an absence of receiving the wakeup indication, the UE may be configured to transmit an uplink reference signal (e.g., a sounding reference signal) to the base station in an inactive duration of a DRX cycle in some cases. The uplink reference signal may be measured at the base station and used to determine one or more parameters for subsequent communications with the UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receiving, from a base station, control signaling identifying a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration indicating resources for a first control channel and resources for a group-common downlink shared channel corresponding to the first control channel. The UE may receive, on resources for a second control channel, downlink control information including an indication for determining a feedback process identifier associated with the group-common downlink shared channel of the SPS configuration. The UE may monitor for signals on the group-common downlink shared channel of the SPS configuration based on the indicated feedback process identifier.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support uplink (UL) transmit (Tx) switch operations. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes transmitting a user equipment (UE) capability that indicates multiple bands including a first set of bands and a second set of bands, each of the first set of bands and the second set of bands available for a UL Tx switch configuration. The first set of bands may be a pair of bands or a group of one or more bands. The method also includes receiving the UL Tx switch configuration for the first set of bands or the second set of bands, and transmitting an uplink message via the first set of bands or the second set of bands indicated by the UL Tx switch configuration.     Abstract: Support for hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgment feedback for multiple multicast services in 5G new radio (NR) is provided. Resource allocation techniques are provided to allocate uplink control channel resource for acknowledgment of downlink multicast data transmissions associated with one or more multicast services. An apparatus, such a user equipment (UE), receives multicast data associated with one or more multicast services from a base station. The apparatus determines an uplink resource, such as a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource, for transmitting multicast acknowledgement feedback, such as positive acknowledgement (ACK) / negative acknowledgement (NACK) feedback, in response to the received multicast data. The apparatus transmits the acknowledgement feedback for the one or more multicast services to the base station in the determined uplink resource.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described, that provide for configuration and switching between multiple groups of search space sets based on activated serving cells or activated resources for one or more serving cells. An access network entity may configure multiple groups of search space sets, and a user equipment (UE) may monitor for control information in an activated search space set group. A first group of search space sets may be activated based on a serving cell being activated, and the UE may switch to a second group of search space sets when the serving cell is deactivated. Search space set group switching also may be performed based on one or more activated bandwidth parts (BWPs). An access network entity may trigger search space set group switching using explicit signaling, based on cell activation/deactivation, based on a timer, or any combinations thereof.
