Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from an entity of a non-terrestrial network (NTN), a system information block (SIB) that indicates information relating to one or more NTN SIBs that are to include at least one of ephemeris information or feeder link timing advance information. The UE may receive, from the entity of the NTN, the one or more NTN SIBs based at least in part on the information. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity, a message that is associated with an uplink grant. The UE may select, based at least in part on the message, either a cell-specific offset or an updated offset that is indicated after initial access, as a timing offset that accounts for a propagation delay between a base station of the NTN and the UE. The UE may transmit, to the NTN entity, an uplink communication using the timing offset. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for bandwidth part (BWP) switching by frequency shifting and/or by transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state configuration. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a BWP configuration indicating a frequency location and bandwidth of at least a first BWP; receiving signaling indicating at least one frequency shift to determine a second BWP from a frequency location of the first BWP; and communicating on the second BWP after performing a BWP switch from the first BWP to the second BWP based on the at least one frequency shift.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes validating a PUR configuration in a NTN based on location-related information associated with a satellite. For example, a UE may determine, based on location-related information of a satellite in a non-terrestrial network, whether a preconfigured uplink resource (PUR) configuration is valid. The UE may also transmit, to a base station (BS) via the satellite in response to determining that the PUR configuration is valid, a communication signal in a PUR. For example, the UE may determine, based on the location-related information associated with the satellite, if the parameter satisfies the threshold, and transmit UL data in a PUR occasion based on the determined parameter satisfying the threshold.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) transmits, to a network entity, a Long-Term Evolution (LTE) positioning protocol (LPP) capabilities message, the LPP capabilities message including one or more capability parameters indicating capabilities of the UE to engage in a positioning session with at least one network node, the positioning session comprising an impulse radio ultra-wideband (IR-UWB) ranging procedure between the UE and the at least one network node, receives, from the network entity, an LPP assistance data message, the LPP assistance data message including one or more assistance parameters configuring the UE to perform at least the IR-UWB ranging procedure, and performs at least the IR-UWB ranging procedure based at least on the one or more assistance parameters.

Abstract: The apparatus wireless communication may include a UE. The UE may receive a DL communication triggering a UL communication starting in a first UL slot/subframe from an NTN BS over at least one DL slot/subframe ending in a first DL slot/subframe. The LIE may monitor for DL communications from the NTN BS in at least a subset of DL slots/ subframes between the first DL slot/ subframe and a second DL slot/ subframe that is time-aligned with the first UL slot/ subframe. The DL communication may trigger a second DL communication starting at a third DL slot/ subframe and ending at a fourth DL slot/ subframe, and the UL communication is based at least in part on receiving the second DL communication, and the UE may monitor the at least the subset of slots/ subframes between the fourth DL slot/ subframe and the second DL slot/ subframe.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some networks, a user equipment (UE) may perform radio link monitoring according to one or more radio link monitoring configurations. The UE may select a radio link monitoring configuration from a first radio link monitoring configuration associated with radio link monitoring over a duration that a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process is enabled and a second radio link monitoring configuration associated with radio link monitoring over a duration that the HARQ process is disabled. The UE may monitor reference signals using the selected radio link monitoring configuration, and may determine a radio link failure, a beam failure, or both has occurred based on monitoring the one or more reference signals using the selected radio link monitoring configuration. The UE may subsequently transmit a measurement report based on determining the radio link failure, the beam failure, or both.

A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first SSB from an entity in a non-terrestrial network (NTN) at a first time and frequency location. The method generally includes determining one or more time and frequency locations of one or more other SSBs from the entity in the NTN based on the first time and frequency location. The method generally includes monitoring for the one or more other SSBs at the determined one or more time and frequency locations.
