Abstract: PURPOSE: A bismuth(bi) based Pb-free piezoelectric ceramic and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance dielectric and piezoelectric properties. CONSTITUTION: A bismuth(bi) based Pb-free piezoelectric ceramic has perovskite crystal structure. Abstract: PURPOSE: A composite dielectric is provided to enhance adhesive force with an electrode layer and strength, thereby enhancing durability of instrumentation. CONSTITUTION: A composite dielectric comprises polymer resins(10), and ceramic dielectrics(20) which are dispersed in the membranous polymers resin. Reinforced fibers(30) selected from glass fiber, carbon fiber, and carbon nanotubes are mixed with the membranous polymers resin and ceramic dielectric. 15 weight% of the reinforced fiber is mixed based on total weight of the composite. Additionally, one or more selected from metal powder of Al, Fe, Cu, Ag, Au, Ni, W, Cr is contained in the membranous polymers resin and ceramic dielectric.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An MgO evaporation source for protecting PDP protecting film and a manufacturing method of MgO sintered using the same are provided to improve the durability and property of PDP by using poly-crystal magnesium oxide as a vapor-deposition material for a PDP protective film. CONSTITUTION: Material more than two kinds of scandium, gadolinium, zirconium and iron is selected and mixed with magnesium oxide. The mixture is calcinated with pellet shaped after molded. The calcined material is sintered in 1600-1700°C. The relative density of the sintering material is 95.5% or greater. The complex dopant is mixed at 1-200 ppm. Calcination is performed in 500-1000°C. Sintering is operated for 1-10 hours.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A ceramic composition for a lead-free PTC thermistor, a PTC ceramics thermistor manufactured therefrom, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture the PTC ceramics thermistor including a Curie temperature over 130 deg C without containing lead. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic composition for a lead-free PTC thermistor contains a ceramic material marked as BT-xNKN in which Na0.5K0.5NbO3(NKN) is formed as a solid solution of BaTiO_3(BT). The ceramic material additionally contains 0~0.05 mol% of dopant material with Nb2O_5 powder. The manufacturing method of the PTC ceramics thermistor comprises the following steps: preparing BaTiO_3 with the purity of 99.9%; manufacturing (1-x)BT-xNKN ceramic material powder; ball milling the ceramic material powder; crushing the ceramic material powder after drying and adding into mortar; incinerating the ceramic material powder; ball milling the ceramic material powder for 24 hours; and manufacturing the ceramic material powder into a sensor shape.
