Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for estimating a location of a base station using data collected through a collecting device or the like, and a method for estimating a location of a base station thereby. The system for estimating a location of a base station according to the present invention comprises: a portable collecting device which considers a collection distribution of multiple base stations and randomly sets locations of the multiple base stations to collect received signal strength indications transmitted from the randomly set multiple base stations; and a server device which measures the received signal strength indications collected by the portable collecting device to compute a signal attenuation pattern according to a separation distance between the randomly set base stations and the portable collecting device, and estimates the locations of the base stations according to an error between a received signal strength estimation at a specific spot and an actual received signal strength measurement at the specific spot. According to the present invention, efficiency of a location-based technology can be improved since it is possible to estimate location of base stations based on information collected by a collecting device.

A device and method for estimating location are disclosed. The device for estimating the location according to the present invention comprises; a setting part which sets a coordinate system according to a location information; a selecting part which selects a target node which is a target of the location estimation based on the connection information between the nodes received from multiple nodes forming a network; and an estimating part which estimates the location information of the target node according to connection relationship of a standard node which knows the target node and the location information. PURPOSE: A location estimation method of a mobile node and location estimation server are provided to accurately estimate a node location by using a fixing node which includes location information. CONSTITUTION: An information collecting unit(130) receives one or more information which is necessary to estimate the location information, distance information, and connection information for two fixed nodes. The connection information is information between the fixing node and mobile nodes. The distance information is estimation information between the fixing node and the mobile node. An estimation unit(120) estimates the location of plural moving nodes by using one or more information.
