CONSTITUTION: A cross member assembly(10) for a vehicle comprises an upper panel(1), both side lower panels, and a center lower panel(5). The both side lower panels are separately assembled in the lower sides of both ends in the upper panel. The both lower panels comprise front and rear lower arm mounting panels(11) to install a lower arm. The center lower panel is assembled in the lower center of the upper panel. Abstract: PURPOSE: An active roll control system is provided to improve the rotation stability of a vehicle by actively controlling the roll rigidity of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An active roll control system comprises a stabilizer bar, a stabilizer link(3), a sliding unit, and a driving source. The sliding unit comprises a slide rail(23), a connector(25), and a plurality of rollers(31). The slide rails are equipped in the both sides inside the housing unit of a lower arm in the stabilizer link along the width direction of a vehicle. The connector are arranged to correspond to both side slide rails inside the housing unit. The connector is connected to the end of a push rod and the lower end of the stabilizer link at the same time through a double ball joint(2BJ). The push rod is connected to the motor driving shaft of the driving source. A roller is rotatably installed in the roller installation groove(37) of the connector through a roller pin(33) by a rolling contact with the rail groove(35) of each slide rail.

Abstract: A device for varying stiffness of a stabilizer bar for a vehicle is provided to actively change a supporting point between two ends of the stabilizer bar and a stabilizer bar bush, thereby capable of restricting different kinds of rolling of the vehicle. A device for varying stiffness of a stabilizer bar for a vehicle comprises a guide hole(21), an input unit(50), an inner pipe member(70), an actuator(80), and a controller(90). The slit-shaped guide hole is penetrated between two ends of the stabilizer bar and a stabilizer bar bush(20). The input unit senses roll of the vehicle when driving or cornering the vehicle. The inner pipe member is aligned in the stabilizer bar along longitudinal direction. One end of the inner pipe member directing an end of the stabilizer bar is penetrated with the guide hole and assembled to the stabilizer bar. The actuator is fixed in the stabilizer bar and integrally assembled to the other end of the inner pipe member where an assembling pin member(61) is not penetrated. The actuator rectilinearly moves the inner pipe member in accordance with length. The controller receives a signal from the input unit, judges roll side of the vehicle and controlling the actuator in accordance with roll size.
