Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent pores of paving bodies from being clogged with duct, by sprinkling a surfactant aqueous solution having a specified surface tension and concentration and retaining the draining and permeable functions of the paving bodies with a specified porosity. CONSTITUTION: A surfactant aqueous solution having 50dyne/cm or less surface tension is splinkled in order to retain the draining and permeable functions of paving bodies having 10-26vol.% porosity. In this case, anion, nonion, cation, or amphoteric surfactant is selectively used. At that time, the concentration of surfactant in the aqueous solution is prepared 0.005-10wt.% and it is possible to use a water-repellent or oil-repellent processing agent or a hydrophilicity processing agent in common.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To stabilize fluidity characteristics of high fluidity concrete which does not require compaction for a long time and to easily control the fluidity. CONSTITUTION:The high fluidity concrete is obtd. by compounding not only cement, water and normal aggregate, but fine powder having the same or smaller particle size than the cement particles, dispersant, and thickener under conditions of 140-200kg/m unit water amt. and 25-70wt.% of water/(cement+ powder). The obtd. concrete has 40-75cm slump flow rate. In this method, gum (Extracellular polysaccaride) is used as the thickener, and further, fluidity holding agent and slow-dissolving air inducing agent are added.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject additive, capable of improving preventing effects on peel of a bituminous substance and useful as an asphalt paving composition, etc., by blending an inorganic phosphoric acid compound with a specific acidic organic phosphoric acid compound. CONSTITUTION:This highly durable additive comprises (A) a 16-18C straight- chain or branched chain saturated or unsaturated aliphatic monophosphoric acid ester, (B) a 16-18C straight-chain or branched chain saturated or unsaturated aliphatic diphosphoric acid ester and (C) an inorganic phosphoric acid compound. The amount of the component (A) is 40-95mol% based on the sum total of both the components (A) and (B) and the amount of the component (C) is 1-15mol% based on the sum total of both the components (A) and (B). Thereby, the optimum bonding interface dense in the molecular structure and orientation can be formed in the interface between the bituminous substance and an aggregate.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a self-filling concrete from which the aggregate is hardly segregated. CONSTITUTION:An aggregate is coated with a water-soluble polymer. The concn. of an aq. soln. of the polymer is controlled to 0.01-2.0wt.%, and the amt. of the aq. soln. to be applied is adjusted to 2-15 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the aggregate. Cement is added to the aggregate, and the admixture is kneaded with water by the well-known method to obtain a self-filling concrete. Otherwise, a cement admixture is added to the aggregate, and the mixture is kneaded with water to obtain the self-filling concrete. The slump flow value is controlled to >=40cm when the value is measured by the method stipulated in JIS-A1101. Since the aggregate is hardly segregated from the concrete, the aggregates are not brought into contact with or entangled with one another, the filling property is not lowered, and the concrete composition is made uniform.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the concrete admixture increasing flowability of concrete and keeping it constant, by constituting the titled admixture with non-aq. solvent soln. of polymer of ethylenic dicarboxylic anhydride or copolymer of other monomer copolymerisable with the anhydride. CONSTITUTION:The polymer of known ethylenic unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride or copolymer of the anhydride and the other monomer copolymerisable with the anhydride, having 500-5,000 mean mol.wt. is dissolved in the non-aq. solvent such as hydrocarbon, etc. The non-aq. solvent soln. is used as concrete admixture. For example, maleic anhydride, etc., is pref. as the ethylenic unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride above-mentioned. Vinyl monomer, especially C2-8 olefin and styrene, is pref. as the other monomer polymerisable with the anhydride above-mentioned. Concrete compounded with the concrete admixture of this invention can be hardened by a method for hardening of usual concrete.
