    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance controllability of a flow rate of oil and prevent unnecessary heating of the oil by allowing the oil jetted from a crankshaft along the inner face of a sealed case disposed in the upper portion, and dividing the oil flow at projecting curves so as to permit the oil to drip in the vicinity of a cylinder head. SOLUTION: During operation of a closed electric compressor 1, oil 24 jetted from an oil opening 12 collides against the upper inner face of a sealed case 2 upon rotation of a crankshaft 6. The orbit of the collision draws a substantial circle 25, flows along the inner face of the sealed case 2, and finally, reaches a pair of projecting curves 19 projecting outward on both sides at the upper portion of the sealed case 2. Subsequently, the flow is divided into flows, i.e., a flow along first curves 18 indicated by arrows 26 and flows bypassing the projecting curves 19 indicated by arrows 27. In the flow indicated by the arrows 26, the oil drips in a required quantity on a cylinder head 16 to thus cool it. However, the oil cannot drip on a turn portion of a discharge line 20 under the projecting curves 19, thereby preventing unnecessary heating of the oil.

SOLUTION: A locking projection 61 of a small end part 50 whose tip end is shaped like a semi-sphere or a cone is fitted in a fixing groove 63 of a large end part 52 whose bottom end is orthogonal to a large end hole 53 and is shaped like a semi-sphere or a cone and a locking pin 65 is inserted into a fixing hole 55 and a locking hole 59 to form a connecting rod 19, which can eliminate the condition that the axis of the large end hole 53 skews the axis of the small end hole 51 and produce the stable movement of the connecting rod 19.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower starting torque in a starting time by providing a controller always opening a discharge valve in a starting time. SOLUTION: A tip part 20a of an electromagnet 20 is opposed to a discharge lead 7 via a spring lead 22 and a stopper 23 so as to be fixed in a cylinder head 15. In a starting time, a compressor start detecting means detects a start, of a compressor so as to give an excitation command for a timer which energizes the electromagnet 20 for a set time set around a time required for bringing the compressor to the steady number of revolutions. Then, the electromagnet 20 is magnetized by means of excitation based on the timer, and by means of the magnetic force from the tip part 20a, the discharge lead 7 is forcibly opened, and then, a discharge valve 5 is set in a normally-open condition. Under this condition, coolant is hardly compressed even if a piston 3 is advanced and set in a compression stroke. After a lapse of the set time, the timer stops excitation to the electromagnet 20 so as to release magnetization in the electromagnet 20, so that the discharge valve 5 is returned to a normal condition.

SOLUTION: A compressor is provided with a suction valve 11 which has a suction lead 14 in which a magnet 20 is fixed to a surface corresponding to a suction hole 12; an electromagnet 21 which has a leading end directed to the suction lead 14 at the position opposed to the suction lead 14 through the suction hole 12 and the suction hole 12; and an under-operation current carrying voltage control device which carries current to the electromagnet 21 during operation and adjusts the voltage. It is thus possible to adjust lifting up of the suction lead 14 and control a passage amount of coolant.

A lower end 19 of a feed oil pipe 18 is disposed in a feed oil cup 51 attached to a closed container 1, and the upper opening end 52 of the feed oil cup 51 is disposed slightly closer to the oil 17 side than a layer of the liquid refrigerant 16.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To discharge a liquid such as water or the like by means of the inclination and groove of a bracket when it splashes on a compressor as well as to make improvements in safety to avoid sticking to electrical equipment by keeping a slant on a top face of the bracket and installing a groove there. CONSTITUTION:This machine consists of a bracket 2 clamped so as to surround a glass terminal installed in a compressor body 1 and an electrical equipment cover 4 covering a circumference of this bracket 2 which is provided with a slant 2a on the top face going down to the side of the compressor body 1. In this connection, a groove 2b conducting water is installed in this bracket 2, and this groove 2b is made so as to be situated in the nearer side of the compressor body 1 than a mounting surface of an electric part 3 of the glass terminal. Accordingly, when a liquid such as water or the like splashes on the compressor body 1, this liquid of water or the like flows into the side of the compressor body 1 owing to the slant 2a of the bracket, whereby it is discharged out of an opening part. In addition, the liquid of water, etc., is guided to the groove 2b at the side of the compressor body 1, so it is discharged without sticking to the electric part 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain the rigidity of a container and prevent resonance for lower noise by forming a communication part of a suction part with the container at the mode part of a resonance mode generated in a closed container. CONSTITUTION:In a closed container 2, a mechanical part 6 and a motor part 7 are stored, at the lower part of which lubricating oil is gathered. A communication part of a suction part 18 formed at the mechanical part 6 with the closed container 2 is positioned on a plane surface which passes through the center of gravity of the plane surface where a sectional area is roughly the maximum at the horizontal cross section of the container 2, and passes through its center and is roughly at right angles to a line segment (a) where the distance between the inner walls of the container 2 is minimum, a plane surface which passes through its center and is roughly at right angles to a line segment (b) between the inner wall surfaces of the container 2 which is roughly at right angles to the line segment (a) on a horizontal plane surface, or a plane surface which passes through its center and is roughly at right angles to a line segment (c) which is the maximum distance between the inner wall surface in the perpendicular direction of the container 2 and the oil level of the lubricating oil 17. It is thus possible to prevent the excitation of a frequency resonance mode which is a problem of the resonance generated in the container 2, from being generated, preventing noise from being increased by the generation of resonance noise.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce sliding loss so as to improve energy efficiency and also decrease thrust noise by providing plural shallow spiral grooves, narrowed toward the outside from the inside, on either one or both of the upper and lower faces of a thrust washer. CONSTITUTION:Refrigerator oil 25 supplied to the load face 33 of a bearing 29 is fed between the lower face 36 of a thrust washer 34 and the load face 33, and between an upper face 35 and the thrust of a crankshaft 26 so as to enable fluid lubrication on both sides. The thrust washer 34 is rotated with delay in relation to the rotating peripheral speed of the crankshaft 26. However, since there are provided spiral grooves 37 narrowed toward the outside from the inside, pressure rises during the time of the refrigerator oil 25 reaching the seal part 41 from the inlet port 40 of the spiral groove 37, thus obtaining sufficient fluid lubrication. The improvement of energy efficiency can be thereby obtained, and also thrust noise can be reduced considerably by the sufficient fluid lubrication and the lowering of relative sliding speed.
