    Abstract: PURPOSE:To protect foodstuff from decaying because of an operation failure of a defrosting temperature detection means by giving an alarm if the time of a defrosting temperature detection means is shorter than its preset time when the defrosting temperature detection means is subjected to higher temperature after power is supplied to a defrosting heater. CONSTITUTION:When an operation timer counts a specified time, a compressor 9 is turned OFF while a defrosting heater is turned ON where a defrosting timer 19 proceeds with counting. Then, the temperature of a defrosting temperature detection means 11 is checked for. If the detected temperature is judged to be too high, the count value of the defrosting timer 19 is read. On the other hand, it is judged to be longer than a preset time, defrosting heater 10 is turned OFF so that cooling operation may be stated. When the time is shorter, it is output to a step alarm means 17 so as to allow the timer 19 to proceed with its count. When it reaches the preset time, the defrost heater 10 is turned OFF so that cooling operation may start. Therefore, when the power supply time to the defrosting heater 10 is extremely short, it can be judged to be an operation failure of the defrosting temperature detection means 11, which forcedly supplies power to the defrosting heater 10 for a specified time.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent bad appearance as well as the faulty retention of sealing property and the like due to separation effectively by a method wherein the rear wall of a cover body is secured to a partitioning wall, formed so as to be projected in the shape of an arc toward the inside direction of a refrigerator, with bolts. CONSTITUTION:The rear wall 3b of a cover body 3 is connected integrally to a partitioning wall 2, formed so as to be projected in the shape of an arc toward the inside direction of a refrigerator, by screwing bolts 5 into nuts 7 while penetrating through attaching holes 3c. Under this condition, the rear wall 3b of the cover body 3 is pushed in a direction shown by an arrow sign B in a diagram while respective side walls 3d become slanted condition accompanied by elasticity toward a direction shown by an arrow sign A. Further, heat insulating material 6 is inserted under a condition that the cover body 3 is connected to the partitioning wall 2 and, thereafter, the opening of the cover body 3 is expanded by a jig or the like to engage a front plate 4 with the cover body 3, then, very rigid engaging condition can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable hinges and partition plates to be reliably secured to the title casing by providing an insulating material on the contact part of a heat radiating pipe with an outer case or with a reinforcing plate in the vicinity of the reinforcing plate, and by fixing the reinforcing plate to the outer case by spot welding. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing plate 19 is welded and secured to the uncoated side of an outer case 2 made of a coated steel sheet by a one-side spot welding method and, further, an insulating material 26 is applied to a heat radiating pipe 17. Since the outer case 2 and the reinforcing plate 19 are secured to each other by electric welding, the outer case 2 is strengthened and, in addition, since the insulating material 26 is used on the contact surface of the heat radiating pipe 17 with the reinforcing plate 19, there will arise no problem such as deterioration in the cooling performance caused by an occurrence that a branched current flows to the heat radiating pipe 17 during welding work and bores holes through the wall of the heat radiating pipe 17.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the work of attaching anti-dewing pipes to a cabinet with a thermal-conductive tape by a method wherein an interval between adjacent anti-dewing pipes is spaced at a fixed distance at a top plate part and both side surface parts, and piping is also constituted in the same arrangement at the respective parts. CONSTITUTION:The arrangement of anti-dewing pipes 1 is constituted of a top plate part 1a and both side surface parts 1b, 1c, which are respectively attached to the insides of a top plate 2a and both side surfaces 2b, 2c forming the outer case 2 of a cabinet with a thermal-conductive tape 3 made of aluminum foil. After the anti-dewing pipes 1 have been attached to the outer case 2, said case 2 is bent at bending parts 4 thereof and mounted on an inner case of the cabinet. Furthermore, intervals l and i between the adjacent anti-dewing pipes 1 at the top plate part 1a and both side surface parts 1b, 1c are spaced at the same distance, respectively, and piping at the respective parts is also constituted in the same arrangement.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow attaching a heat insulated box stably with a simple device by a method wherein a strip of painted steel plate with a pre-painted surface is bent and formed in an outer box, a double flange is formed around the edge of the opening on the front face of the outer box, and steel plate reinforcing members are fixed on the rear face of the double flange by means of one-side spot welding. CONSTITUTION:An outer box 2 consists of left and right side plates 8 and 9, a top plate 10 and a double flange 11 which is formed around the edge of an opening on the front face, and is formed by bending a strip of painted steel plate with a pre- painted surface. The back face of a rear flange 11d of the outer box 2, i.e., steel plate itself of the opposite face of the painting film 13, is in contact with a reinforcing member 18, and electric welding is carried out on the opposite face of the painting film 13 in such a state that the non-conductive painting film 13 side is placed on a base 22a of a spot welding tool 22. At this time, a voltage is applied to the steel plate of the reinforcing member 19 through a plus electrode 22c of the tool 22, and an electric current is flowed from the electrode 22c to a minus electrode 22b through the steel plate to generated heat by which the steel plates are melted and welded to each other. Furthermore, as the electric current and the voltage concentrate on a protrusion 21, the protrusion 21 is melted and stably welded.
