Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive one or more power saving signals based at least in part on a selected power saving signal configuration of a set of power saving signal configurations, wherein the UE stores information identifying the set of power saving signal configurations; and perform a power saving operation based at least in part on the one or more power saving signals. In some aspects, a base station may determine one or more power saving signal configurations, of a set of power saving signal configurations, to be used to transmit one or more power saving signals; and transmit the one or more power saving signals using the one or more power saving signal configurations. An example method generally includes identifying that RLM resources or BFD resources are configured implicitly by at least in part: obtaining TCI states, for PDDCH CORESETs, obtaining an indication that at least one of the TCI states is activated to become an active TCI state of the PDCCH CORESETs, identifying one or more CSI-RS resources configured in the at least one of active TCI states of the PDCCH CORESETs, and if the UE does not support RLM or BFD based on the CSI-RS or the one or more CSI-RS resources are AP or SP, determining a SS block for RLM or BFD that has a QCL relationship with the one or more CSI-RS resources of the at least one of active TCI states; and performing RLM or BFD based on the SS block.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques that may allow a base station and user equipment (UE) to be in agreement on spatial quasi co-location (QCL) assumptions for transmission in certain scenarios. The techniques may be used, for example, to determine QCL assumptions for downlink transmissions sent in an initial control resource set (CORESET) on an initial downlink bandwidth part (BWP) where dedicated signaling of such assumptions may be lacking. In some cases, the techniques may involve a UE determining a beam to use for monitoring for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission on the initial CORESET in the initial downlink BWP that lacks dedicated signaling of QCL information and monitoring for the PDCCH on the initial CORESET in the initial BWP using the determined beam. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Power control in new radio (NR)-to-NR dual connectivity communications is disclosed. A UE, compatible for NR-to-NR dual connectivity, may receive a transmit power configuration and a power allocation configuration. The transmit power configuration identifies the designated reserved power for each of the cell groups participating in the dual connectivity communication. The power allocation configuration identifies to the UE whether to operate access to excess transmission power by either mode 1 rules, which may introduce phase discontinuity into ongoing transmissions, or mode 2 rules, which use a look-ahead functionality to trigger joint determination and allocation of transmission power among known uplink transmissions over a given transmission duration. After the determined transmission power allocation has been made, the UE transmits the dual connectivity transmissions according to the determined power.

A transmission reception point (TRP) may determine a configuration for downlink transmission of group-common control information associated with a plurality of TRPs. The TRP may identify a set of downlink resources allocated for transmission of the group-common control information. A user equipment (UE) may receive the configuration from at least one TRP of the plurality of TRPs. The UE may monitor downlink resources for reception of the group- common information based on the configuration. The TRP may transmit, and the UE may receive, the group-common control information over the downlink resources. The group- common control information may indicate communication parameters for communications between the UE and at least one TRP.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive multiple physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) in one or more slots along with data traffic, where one of the PDCCHs includes a downlink preemption indication (DLPI) signifying that a portion of the data traffic was preempted. In some cases, the UE may monitor, within a same slot, for both the data traffic and an additional PDCCH carrying the DLPI and then transmit, within the same slot, a feedback message based on attempting to decode the data traffic, taking into account the DLPI. Additionally, the UE may receive the data traffic via a first service, where the DLPI indicates a second service preempts the first service. In some cases, the DLPI may be transmitted based on the UE being capable of processing the data traffic and transmitting the feedback message within the same slot.
