PURPOSE: A biosensor cartridge for automating entire process for detecting a biogenic substance is provided to enable cheap and highly efficient detection and to enhance detection accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A biosensor cartridge(100) comprises: a plasma separator(110) for isolating plasma from blood; a plasma measuring unit(120) for measuring and storing the plasma isolated from the plasma separator; a mixer(150,152) for storing a sample to detecting a biogenic substance from plasma and mixing the plasma and sample; and a biosensor(180) which is injected to the mixture liquid of the plasma and sample and is used for detecting the biogenic substance in the plasma.

PURPOSE: A sensor for bubble preventive fluid is provided to improve detection sensitivity improvement and reliability and to minimize noise. CONSTITUTION: A sensor for bubble preventive fluid comprises a main body member(111), a reactive part(130), an inlet part(140) and an outlet part(150). The main body member comprises a substrate(110) accomplishing a lower part and a top plate(120) accomplishing an upper side. The fluid sample reacts in the reactive part as the internal space of the main body member. The inlet part locates in one side of the top plate. The inlet part flows in the fluid sample as a reactive part. The outlet part locates in the other side of the top plate. The outlet part flows out the fluid sample from the reactive part.

PURPOSE: A tray for freeze-drying, a freeze-drying system using thereof, and a producing method of a freeze-drying reagent are provided to easily mass produce the freeze-drying reagent, and to rapidly divide the liquid form freeze-drying reagent to a reagent cartridge. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a freeze-drying reagent comprises the following steps: preparing a tray(400) including an opening on the upper side, and more than one first rail(410) in a tunnel shape with one opened end; allocating a sample reagent to plural reagent cartridges(200); sealing the opened end of the first rail after installing the reagent cartridges; freeze-drying the reagent by a freeze-drying program using a freeze-dryer; and bringing out the tray from the freeze-dryer.

PURPOSE: A microfluidic structure is provided to save an inner space and samples by analyzing various kinds of target materials through one time reaction and to be used as a process control. CONSTITUTION: A microfluidic structure comprises: a plurality of sample chambers; a reaction chamber in which two kinds of materials specifically reactive with two kinds of target materials; a detection chamber connected to the reaction chamber; passages connected to the chambers; and a valve for opening and shutting the passages. The material specifically reactive with two kinds of target materials is selected from the group consisting of protein, antigen, antibody, enzyme, DNA, PNA, RNA, hormone and chemical substance.

An optical detection device and method for disk-type microfluidic apparatus use phase-sensitive detection method in order to provide precise information about the optical characteristic of reactant even at the state the darkroom condition is not prepared. An optical detection device using phase-sensitive detection method for disk-type microfluidic apparatus comprisesa rotation driving part(140), a light source, an optical sensor(153), a filter, and a signal processing unit. The rotation driving part stops the detection area of the disk-type microfluidic apparatus in the predetermined location. The light source irradiates the light to the detection area stopped in the predetermined location while flickering at the fixed frequency. The optical sensor is arranged toward the detection area and generates electric signal according to the intensity of the incident light. The filter is arranged on the optical path between the detection area and the optical sensor, and passes the light of the specific band. The signal processing unit receives the signal generated in the optical sensor and outputs only the signal of the same frequency component as the flickering frequency of the light source.

A centrifugal force-based microfluidic system is provided to prevent a waste of resources by scraping only a bio cartridge used in an examination when a biochemical examination is performed. A centrifugal force-based microfluidic system(10) includes: a spindle motor(12); a frame(15) which has a plurality of cells(20) divided by barrier ribs(18), is detachably fitted in the spindle motor, and rotates; and a bio cartridge(30) which is detachably mounted on at least one of the plurality of cells. The bio cartridge has a chamber(35) for storing fluid, a channel(36) for transferring the fluid, and a valve(33) for controlling a flow of the fluid.

A method for designing a probe is provided to obtain the probe which is able to detect rapidly and accurately existence of a target sequence in a reaction sample including the target sequence and many non-target sequences. And a method for detecting a target sequence is provided to be able to detect rapidly and accurately existence of the target sequence in the reaction sample. A method for designing a probe for detecting a target sequence comprises the steps of: (a) selecting a position in a target sequence different from a non-target sequence which has the highest sequence homology to the target sequence to be detected as a standard position; (b) selecting a first probe design area for all probes having a certain length designed in a certain area in the target sequence including the standard position; (c) selecting a position in the target sequence different from the non-target sequence as a probe selection position; (d) selecting a complete match probe including the probe selection position at the center position and consisting of a completely hybridizable sequence; and (e) selecting an intentional mis-match probe which is longer than the complete match probe, includes the probe selection position at the first position and a nucleotide, unable to be hybridized with the target sequence, and consists of a sequence which is completely hybridizable with the target sequence except the second position. A method for detecting a target sequence using the probe designed by the method above comprises the steps of: (a) providing a reaction sample to detect the existence of the target sequence to the complete match probe and the intentional mis-match probe; and (b) identifying the hybridization between the probes and the target sequence.
