Abstract: PURPOSE: A frequency variable coaxial dielectric resonator is provided to overcome an adjustable bounds of a resonance frequency and achieve an easier manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric member(100) has an inside surface and an outside surface. An inside conductive member(230) is shorter in length than the inside surface of the dielectric member(100). A conductive shaft member(400) is inserted into a through hole, which is formed on a coaxial dielectric resonator, and is capable of change the length to be inserted into the though hole, thereby varying a resonance frequency according to the inserted length. The dielectric member(100) has two end parts and a predetermined longitudinal length. The through hole is formed along a central line from the lower end part to the upper end part of the dielectric member(100) in the direction of the dielectric member(100). The through hole takes preferably a cylinder type, on which a forming method like one axis press is easily applicable.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A monolithic dielectric filter is provided to improve an attenuation characteristic and to be easy to produce by eliminating a part of a metal film so as to expose a body. CONSTITUTION: In a monolithic dielectric filter consisting of a ceramic shintering body(10)and having an input/output terminal(15), a plurality of through holes(11,12) are formed in the monolithic dielectric filter. The plurality of through holes are in parallel each other, and are extended from one side of the shintering body to the other side opposed to the one side of the shintering body. A metal film is coated at a part of the shintering body. The part of the shintering body is placed at a side plane at which the input/output terminal is not formed and at an edge placed between the through holes.
