    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolytic capacitor having both excellent high frequency characteristics and low leakage current by a method wherein the introduction of the mixture of an oxidizing agent and an aromatic compound is conducted at the temperature of -30 deg.C or lower, then temperature is raised, and the aromatic compound is oxidatively polymerized at the temperature of -20 deg.C or higher. CONSTITUTION:As the mixing of an oxidizing agent and an aromatic compound and the introduction of said mixture are conducted at the temperature of -30 deg.C or lower, the above-mentioned mixture can be introduced sufficiently into the internal part of the fine holes of a porous dielectric in a substantially unreacted state. Then, the temperature is raised to -20 deg.C or higher, and oxidative polymerization is conducted. Accordingly, a solid electrolyte, consisting of a conductive high molecular compound, is formed on the surface of the dielectric including the internal part of the fine holes, and a solid electrolytic layer, consisting of a highly conductive high molecular compound, is easily formed on the surface of the dielectric. As a result, a solid electrolytic capacitor, having both excellent high frequency characteristics and a small leakage current, can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title molding excellent in liquid repellency, stain resistance, releasability, etc., by adding a specified amount of a polymer having a specified perfluoroalkyl to a thermoplastic resin, molding the mixture, and heat-treating the molding. CONSTITUTION:A (meth)acrylic ester having a 5-16C perfluoroalkyl (e.g. formula I or II) is homopolymerized or copolymerized with a copolymerizable monomer (e.g. stearyl methacrylate) in the presence of a mercaptan compound of formula III (wherein (n) is 8-18). 0.1-5 pts.wt. obtained perfluoroalkylated polymer is added to 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyethylene), and the mixture is well mixed. The obtained thermoplastic resin composition is molded and heat-treated at 70-130 deg.C to obtain a thermoplastic resin molding of excellent liquid repellency.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolytic capacitor having excellent high-frequency characteristics by introducing an oxidizer composed of the transition metal salt of either of a fatty monocarboxylic acid compound, an aromatic monocarboxylic acid compound, etc., onto a dielectric and chemically oxidation- polymerizing the aromatic compound on the dielectric. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of a solid electrolytic capacitor using the oxide of a film formation metal as a dielectric and a conductive high-molecular compound as a solid electrolyte, an oxidizer consisting of the transition metal salt of either of a fatty monocarboxylic acid compound, an aromatic monocarboxylic acid compound, a fatty phosphoric acid compound and an aromatic phosphoric acid compound is introduced onto the dielectric, and the aromatic compound is chemically oxidation-polymerized on the dielectric and the solid electrolyte is formed. Various methods can be utilized regarding the method of chemical oxidation polymerization. A method in which a porous molded form into which the oxidizer is introduced is exposed in an aromatic compound atmosphere and polymerization is conducted, a method in which the porous molded form is dipped into an aromatic compound solution or the like is cited.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolytic capacitor of large capacitance having excellent characteristics to a high frequency region and also having excellent reliability by a method wherein a work electrode, which is provided in the vicinity of or making contact with the porous molded body of a film-forming metal having an oxide film, is used in an electrolyte containing monomer to be used for electrolytic polymerization. CONSTITUTION:A work electrode 2 is provided in the vicinity of or making contact with a porous molded body 1 of a film-forming metal having an oxide film. This work electrode 2 functions as the starting point of the electrolytic polymerization in which the conductive high molecular compound, as a solid electrolyte, is formed on the porous molded body 1, polymerization is accelerated easily, and the conductive high molecular compound is formed in such a manner that the fine holes are fully filled up with the conductive high molecular compound from the surface of the porous molded body 1. Consequently, as solid electrolyte having sufficiently high conductivity is filled up in the fine holes of the porous molded body 1, equivalent series resistance is made small, resonance frequency is increased to 1MHz or higher, excellent characteristics are shown as far as to the high frequency region, and a large capacitance solid electrolytic capacitor, having a large maximum allowable current and a small leakage current, can be obtained.

CONSTITUTION:The title heat roll is provided with the surface layer consisting of the electron conjugate aromatic polymer. The electron conjugate aromatic polymer is an organic aromatic polymer, and is regulated to the one having molecular structure realizing the conjugation of an electron extending over the entire of a molecular chain or the large part of the molecular chain, and especially, it is desirable to use the electron conjugate aromatic polymer having thermal diffusivity >=0.01cm/sec at a temperature 20 deg.. As such electron conjugate aromatic polymer; polypyrrole, polythiophen, polyfuran, polyparaphenylene and polyparapheninvinyle, and derivatives for them are superior in the points of stability and strength, therefore, they are selected desirably. In such a way, it is possible to obtain satisfactory heat resistance, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a polymer which has a high molecular weight and does not contain impurities, by orientating regularly an amphipathic vinyl monomer using a medium, removing dissolved oxygen, and polymerizing the monomer spontaneously. CONSTITUTION:An amphipathic monomer is dissolved in a medium in which the monomer can orient regularly like micelles or reversed micelles, for example, a polar solvent such as water or a nonpolar solvent such as benzene. After the monomer has oriented regularly, dissolved oxygen is removed by, for example, freezing and thawing or blowing an inert gas such as nitrogen or helium, and the monomer is polymerized spontaneously preferably at 30 deg.C or above. Preferably the amphipathic vinyl monomer is a (meth)acrylic ester or amide which has a hydrophobic group comprising a 6C or higher long-chain alkyl or alkylene group and at least one hydrophilic group selected from the group consisting of anionic, cationic and nonionic groups.

CONSTITUTION:The objective disparsant consisting of an oil-soluble cationic copolymer prepared by copolymerization between (A) pref. 70-99.5mol%, as lipophilic monomer unit, of styrene or its alkyl-substituted derivative (e.g. styrene. alpha-methylstyrene, vinyltoluene) and (B) pref. 0.5-30 (esp. 1-15)mol%, as cationic monomer unit, of a dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylate quaternary salt or dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylamide quaternary salt. In performing an inverse-phase suspension polymerization of a water-soluble ethylenic unsaturated monomer, this dispersant should be used in such an amount as to be 0.1-10wt% based on said monomer.
