Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques configuring half duplex UEs (HD-UEs) to implement supplementary downlink (SDL) in band combination that may be in same or different frequency range designations (e.g., FR1 or FR2). Particularly, in order to compensate for the loss of downlink coverage and improve load balancing, aspects of the present disclosure configure the UE to perform random-access channel (RACH), a procedure that is a shared channel used by wireless terminals to access the mobile network, on the anchor carrier in time division duplex (TDD) band and after initial access, the UE may be configured to switch to SDL to receive subsequent downlink signals.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently facilitating acknowledgment (ACK) or negative acknowledgment (NACK) feedback from a user equipment (UE) for a set of transport blocks in one or more multicast transmissions from a base station. The UE may determine control channel resources for transmitting the ACK/NACK feedback, and each respective control channel resource may correspond to a distinct subset of the set of transport blocks. Once the UE determines a subset of transport blocks that the UE failed to decode (such as at least one transport block), the UE may determine a respective control channel resource that corresponds to the at least one transport block that the UE failed to decode. The UE may transmit ACK/NACK feedback on the respective control channel resource, which, in some examples, may indicate that the UE failed to decode the subset of transport blocks.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a first set of channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) that are spatial domain precoded and not frequency domain precoded, and a second set of CSI-RSs that are spatial and frequency domain precoded. The UE may determine precoder adjustment information based at least in part on measuring the first set of CSI-RSs and the second set of CSI-RSs and comparing first measurement results of the first set of CSI-RSs and second measurement results of the second set of CSI-RSs. The UE may transmit the precoder adjustment information to the base station based at least in part on a result of comparing the first measurement results and the second measurement results. Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to downlink (DL) transmissions using various powers and assigning frequency resources based on the powers. An example base station may transmit, to a first user equipment (UE), an indication of a first transmit (Tx) power for a first DL transmission on a first downlink (DL) resource on a carrier, the first DL resource being at a first frequency. The first DL resource may be at a first frequency. The first Tx power may have a power level configured based on a difference between the first frequency for the first DL resource and an uplink (UL) frequency region of the carrier. Then, the base station may transmit the first DL transmission using the first frequency and the first Tx power. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A child node may communicate in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) communications system with a parent node and the parent node may transmit system information to the child node that may indicate one or more random access channel (RACH) procedure configurations such as a user equipment (UE)-specific RACH procedure configuration and a wireless backhaul-specific (e.g., IAB-specific) RACH procedure configuration. The child node may be configured to utilize the UE-specific RACH procedure configuration or the IAB-specific RACH procedure configuration such as if the child node meets one or more conditions or upon receiving an indication from the parent node. The child node may determine to use the UE-specific RACH procedure configuration for communicating with the parent node and may perform a RACH procedure with the parent node in accordance with the UE-specific RACH procedure configuration.

In some examples, the UE may include the sidelink DRX information in UE-assistance information (UAI). The sidelink DRX information may include a preference of a DRX cycle, a DRX active duration, a DRX inactive duration, and the like, for sidelink DRX operation. The UE may receive a message including a sidelink DRX configuration from the base station based on the sidelink DRX information and operate according to the sidelink DRX configuration.
