Abstract: PURPOSE: To make it possible to drastically suppress the variation in the thicknesses of coating films without making the permissible errors of the thickness of a material to be coated small by measuring the thickness of the material to be coated prior to the start of an operation to form the coating film on the material to be coated and attaching and detaching a coating material discharging device to and from the material to be coated in accordance with this thickness and the thickness of the coating film. CONSTITUTION: The respective parts of a coating device are first reset to their, origins and, thereafter, a selector valve 2a is changed over to a coating material tank side and the suction operation by a microsyringe pump 2 is executed. The material 8 to be coated is received from a loader in the state of holding a lift pin risen and the lift pin is lowered to house and fix the material 8 to be coated into the prescribed position on a stage 4. A thickness sensor 4e is lowered in this state and the thickness of the material 8 to be coated is calculated. The coating material is sucked and the selector valve 2a is changed over to a mouthpiece side. The prescribed clearance is assured by moving the stage 4 and the coating material is discharged from the coating material discharging device 3.

At both the ends of the pipe, a metallic header 2 is fixed. In the surface of the roll body, a covering layer 3 (whose material is different from the matrix metal 1a) consisting of rubber, synthetic resin, metallic plating layer or metallic flame coating layer, for example, is formed on the surface of the roll body to constitute this fiber reinforced metallic roll.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a heat insulating material which stands against severe heat treatment at a high temperature by a method wherein a flexible sheet-type protecting material, having specified physical properties, is provided on the surface of a shaped insulating member at the side of a heat treatment chamber while the connecting parts or parts whereat sides are neighbored to each other at four corners of the insulating members are fixed to the shaped insulating members at the side of the shell of the furnace. CONSTITUTION:A box type heat treatment furnace, in which a heat treatment chamber is formed, is constituted of a furnace shell side shaped insulating material 30 and a heat treatment chamber side shaped insulating material 31, which are fixed to the inside of a furnace shell, and a flexible sheet type protecting material 40 on the surface of inside wall of the heat treatment chamber side shaped insulating material 31. The material of the flexible sheet type protecting material is preferable to be anisotropic graphite having a modulus of elasticity in flexure of 0.5ton/mm or less and thickness of 3mm or less. L-shape members 43, 43, made of graphite, are arranged around the heat treatment chamber side shaped insulating material 31 while the flexible sheet type protecting materials 40 and the furnace shell side shaped insulating materials 30 are fixed to the four corners of the L-shape members through plate type joint members 44 made of graphite. Thus, an insulating structure, prominent in resistance to heat, can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the color filter which obviates blurring of picture elements and can be produced at a low cost and the process for production of such color filter. CONSTITUTION:Partition walls 2 are provided in patterns arranged with the picture elements in stripe forms on the main surface of a glass substrate 1. Color ink 4 of R, G, B are put in prescribed arrangement and the pricture elements in stripe forms are formed in recessed parts 3 enclosed by these partition walls 2. The surface of the partition walls 2 is formed of a material (for example, composite plating, etc.) into which a fluorine compd. (for example, PTFE) is dispersed and incorporated at 1 to 3Owt.% to have an ink repulsive property. The colored ink 4 does not remain on the partition wall 2 even if the colored ink 4 sticks onto the partition walls 2. The blurring of the picture elements is thus prevented. This color filter is easily produced at a low cost by utilizing electroplating, electroless plating or electrodeposition coating.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To smoothly insert a hollow yarn bundle in a case in a sanitary man ner without damaging the hollow yarn bundle. CONSTITUTION:A yarn bundle throttling mechanism 2 is constituted by inserting a thin plate 7 and a film 8 in an outer cylinder 12 in a rolled form and winding a wire 9 around the thin plate 7 and attaching the leading end of the rod of a cylinder 10 to the plate 11 fixed to one end of the wire 9. A hollow yarn 4 is charged in the film 8 whose diameter is increased by loosening the wire 9 of the yarn bundle throttling mechanism 2 and the rod of the cylinder 10 is pulled to throttle the wire 9 and the hollow yarn 4 is throttled from the periphery thereof along with the film 8. A case 5 is held by a case holder 6. The cylinder 3a constituting a yarn bundle pushing mechanism 3 extends its rod to insert the throttled hollow yarn bundle 4 in the case 5.

The temps. of the heaters positioned in the vicinity of the temp. sensors 32a-32c are successively controlled to the temp. equal to or higher than the softening point thermoplastic resin 26 from the position opposite to the position of the pressure means 30 to the position of the pressure means 30 on the basis of the temp. of the object 27 to be molded detected by the temp. sensors 32a-32c by controllers 33a-33c.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a molded body whose mechanical strength is comparatively high, by a method wherein a premolded body comprised of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin whose reinforced resin is oriented in a specific direction beforehand is filled out into a split mold and then melting through heating and molding through pressurization are performed. CONSTITUTION:A bowl-like matter is formed along a cavity 7 with, for example, a top force 1 having a semispherical protrusion 4 and a bottom force 2 having a semispherical recessed part 5 and cylindrical recessed part 3. In this instance, premolded bodies 8, 9 comprised of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin where a short-sized fiber is oriented at random and a premolded body 10 where the short-sized fiber is oriented in a lateral direction and at least an inflow quantity into the cylindrical recessed part 3 are kept formed beforehand. Then when the premolded bodies 10, 9, 8 are put on the bottom force 2 in this order and hot press is performed by moving the top force 1 downward, the major part of the premolded body 10 is caused to flow into the cylindrical recessed part 3 by converting an orienting direction of the short-sized fiber by 90 deg., the premolded bodies 8, 9 fill out into the cavity 7 and become a bawl-like molded body. A molded body whose mechanical strength is high can be obtained like this.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase the shearing strength of a thread by making a reinforced fiber bundle into a three-dimensional fiber structure of reinforced fiber bundles formed in three-dimensional knit units in a screw-shaped molded material constituted of a molded material of a fiber reinforced composed material consisting of a matrix and reinforced fiber bundles with screw channels formed thereon by means of a force. CONSTITUTION:As for a matrix to be used, synthetic resin, metal or the like is preferred, and as for the reinforcing fibers, inorganic fibers such as glass fibers or the like and organic fibers such Aramid fibers are used. A three- dimensional structure formed with fiber bundles 17 constituted of three- dimensional knit units. A fiber structure is constituted of reinforced fiber bundles 6 constituting most of three-dimensional knit units 7 oriented in oblique direction and respective reinforced fiber bundles entangled each other and formed in a solid shape. An intermediate material is formed by pressurizing and heating said matrix and reinforced fiber bundles, ant then the threads are formed with a force with screw channels and hardened. The material with high thread shearing strength can be manufactured at low cost by said arrangement.
