Abstract: PURPOSE:A molding resin composition having improved molding and processing properties, providing a molded article with improved rubber characteristics, obtained by blending two polyether ester amides having different composition in a molten state. CONSTITUTION:A composition consisting of 1-99wt% polyether ester amide containing (A) Xwt% polyamide derived fro >=6C aminocarboxylic acid (preferably 11-aminoundecanoic acid), lactam or >=6C diamine and a carboxylate as a hard component and (B) 100-Xwt% polyether ester derived from a poly(alkylene oxide)glycol, preferably poly(tetramethylene oxide)glycol having 300-6,000 number-average molecular weight and 4-20C dicarboxylic acid as a soft component and 99-1wt% polyether ester amide containing Ywt% component A and 100-Ywt% component A, wherein X and Y are in a range shown by the formula.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a composition of good appearance with high performance in flexibility, low-temperature characteristics resiliency and bleedout resistance, by incorporating a polyether-esteramide with a vinyl chloride graft copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 1-99wt% of a polyether esteramide derived from (i) a >=6C aminocarboxylic acid or (ii) a >=6C lactam or (iii) a salt from >=6C diamine and dicarboxylic acid and (iv) a poly (alkylene oxide) glycol with a number-average molecular weight 300-6,000 and (v) a 4-20C dicarblxylic acid with (B) 99-1wt% of a vinyl chloride graft copolymer prepared by graft copolymerization of vinyl chloride to ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. The EVA of the component B is preferably with such amount of the vinyl acetate copolymerized as to fall between 10 and 90wt%. The component B is preferably with such amounts the EVA and vinyl chloride copolymerized falling between 30 and 70wt% and 70 and 30wt%, respectively.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a composition with outstanding moldability, surface gloss and mechanical properties, by incorporating metallic soap and/or silicone oil in block polyetherester copolymer derived from solid phase polymerization. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of a copolymer with a relative viscosity 0.8-4.5 prepared, in an inert gas or vacuum, by solid phase polymerization using, e.g. a rotary reactor, at 140-220 deg.C (pref. at a temperature lower than the melting temperature by 10-50 deg.C), of a block polyetherester copolymer derived from melt polycondensation between aromatic dicarboxylic acid (or its ester derivative), low-molecular weight glycol and poly(alkylene oxide) glycol with (B) 0.001-2 (pref. 0.005-1)pts.wt. of metallic soap (pref. stearic acid Ba salt or Al-salt) and/or (C) 0.001-2 (pref. 0.005-1)pts.wt. of silicone oil (pref. dimethyl polysiloxane).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent impact resistance, durability and toughness, by blending a polyether ester amide with a linear arom. polyester. CONSTITUTION:At least one compd. (a) (e.g. 12-amino-dodecanoic acid) selected from among 6C or higher aminocarboxylic acids and lactams and salts of 6C or higher diamines with dicarboxylic acids, a poly(alkylene oxide) glycol (b) having a number-average MW of 300-6,000, such as poly(tetramethylene oxide) glycol, and a 4-20C dicarboxylic acid (c) such as dodecanedioic acid are solution-polymerized and the polymerization is then accelerated under high vacuum to obtain a polyether ester amide (A). 1-50wt% component A is blend ed with 99-50pts.wt. linear arom. polyester (e.g. polybutylene terephethalate) obtd. by condensing an arom. dicarboxylic acid with a diol as main components.

CONSTITUTION:A polyether ester amide is prepd. by reacting a 6C or higher aminocarboxylic acid or lactam, or a salt of a 6C or higher diamine and a dicarboxylic acid (e.g. 11-aminoundecanoic acid) (A), a poly(alkylene oxide) glycol (B) having a number-average MW of 300-6,000 [e.g. poly(tetramethylene oxide) glycol] and a 4-20C dicarboxylic acid (C) (e.g. terephthalic acid). 99-1wt% polyether ester amide is mixed with 1-99wt% polyacetal (e.g. formal dehyde homopolymer or formaldehyde/propylene oxide copolymer) to obtain the desired resin compsn.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled amide having a high degree of polymerization and a low gel-like foreign matter content within a short time, by polycondensing a specified polyamide-forming component with a polyether-ester-forming compound in the presence of antimony oxide. CONSTITUTION:A polyether-ester-amide of a number-average MW>=15,000 is obtained by charging a reaction vessel with 99-5wt% at least one polyamide- forming compound selected from among a lactam, an aminocarboxylic acid and a salt between substantially equivalent amounts of a diamine and a dicarboxylic acid (e.g., aminododecanoic acid), 1-95wt% polyether-ester-forming component between substantially equivalent amounts of a 4-20C dicarboxylic acid and a poly(alkylene oxide) glcyol of a number-average MW of 300-5,000 and a small amount of a P compound, agitating the contents in the vessel by heating to 180-300 deg.C under a nitrogen stream to form a homogeneous mixture, adding 0.001-0.5wt% antimony oxide (e.g., Sb2O3) to this mixture and polycondensing the monomers in a molten state at 200-300 deg.C for 30min-10hr in a vacuum of 50mm.Hg or below.

Abstract: PURPOSE:A molded polyester article, having improved antistatic properties, and obtained by using a block polyether-ester and a metallic salt of a sulfonic acid. CONSTITUTION:Polybutylene terephthalate having a relative viscosity of 1.3-2.0 is incorporated with (A) 10-45wt% block polyetherester, preferably having a melting point of about 70-220 deg.C and synthesized from terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, 1,4-butanediol, polyethylene glycol, etc., and if necessary mixed with a heat stabilizer, and (B) 0.01-5wt% metallic salt of a sulfonic acid expressed by the formula ArSO3.1/mMe (Ar is an aromatic residue which may or may not have a substituent; m is an integer 1-3; Me is a metallic atom), preferably a sodium alkylbenzenesulfonate. The resultant mixture is then molded.

CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polybutylene terephthalate, preferably having a relative viscosity at 25 deg.C in 0.5wt% o-chlorophenol solution 1.2-1.8 is blended with 0.1- 100pts.wt. olefin copolymer(copolymerization amount is preferably 1-50mol%) consisting of an alpha-olefin and an alpha,beta-unsaturated acid glycidyl ester shown by the formula I (R is H or lower alkyl), and 0.001-10pts.wt. at least one bisamide compound (preferably ethylene bisstearic acid amide, etc.) shown by the formulas II-IV (R1 is 1-20C hydrocarbon; R2-R6 are 1-30C hydrocarbon) in molten state.
