    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. having excellent flexibility, tensile properties and sliding properties, by blending a specified polyether ester amide with silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:A 6C or higher aminocarboxylic acid or lactam or a salt of a 6C or higher diamine with a dicarboxylic acid (a) (e.g., 12-aminododecanoic acid) is reacted with a poly(alkylene oxide) glycol (b) having a number-average MW of 300-6,000 [e.g., poly(eteramethylene oxide) glycol] and a 4-20C dicarboxylic acid (C) (e.g., terephthalic acid) to obtain a polyether ester amide (A) 100 pts.wt. component A is blended with 0.001-10 pts.wt., pref. 0.1-3 pts.wt. silicone oil (B) (e.g., dimthylpolysiloxane) and optionally, a molding aid, a heat- resistant and light-resistant stabilizer, a colorant, etc. (C).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject polymer in high yield and productivity by polymerizing trioxane and a cyclic ether with a reactor provided with a pair of parallel stirring shafts and having a cross-section consisting of overlapped circles having different centers and containing plate paddle in the reactor and extruding the polymerization product from the lower face of the stirring shaft. CONSTITUTION:A jacket 3 for temperature control is placed on the outer circumference of the cylinder of a reactor having a cross-section consisting of over- lapped circles having different centers. The reactor is provided with a raw material feeding port 4 and a product delivery port 5 at both ends and contains a pair of parallel stirring shafts 1 and plural plate paddles 2 attached to the shafts. The cross-section of the paddle 2 perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the stirring shaft 1 is convex lens form, elliptic form or a pseudopolygonal form inscribed to a virtual circle on each apex. The paddle 2 keeps a narrow clearance between the inner wall of the cylinder and the opposite paddle and rotates in the same direction. Trioxane, a cyclic ether and a catalyst are supplied to a continuous stirring reactor having the above construction and the obtained polymer is delivered from the outlet port 5 opened under one of the stirring shafts in granular form to obtain the objective polymer.
